We've never had a choice before on our rewards, so how is this going to look to us?
Will it be like the Pot O Gold Claim window, where we have two ready to claim, but once we do, the other locks out?

1. Pick up the champion and sell the mech, keep the engine and parts.
2. Pick up the clan mech and sell the mech, keep the limbs and parts.
That's assuming i complete this challenge.

you know what would be nice, 5 points should also be done in the mech we get, this would make people go and use the trials. would make it a bit more fun on top.

This averages about 200 damage per mech you bring.
All the other little bonuses like component destruction count somewhere in there, too. They have to, since I've had matches where I have more kills, assists and damage than a friend...but somehow his match score was a couple higher.

- Getting 80 points per match shouldn't be hard. Even in the 12-man rolls, spawn camping, and light rushes I still always managed to get 80 points. While playing on PUG teams without VOIP. (It's only 20 points for each of the four mechs you drop with.)
- Ghost drops were the only ones less than 80 points, but they end quickly.
- It will be a bit of a grind, but not as bad as some previous challenges.
- Gonna get the stormcrow and sell it. Will probably need the money for UrbanMech upgrades later.
- Winning is good, as we get a bit more C-bills and CW loyalty points which can also equal extra c-bills. But loosing isn't all bad, if you can get the 80 points for the challenge. So don't give up, quit, eject, or whatever if things are going really poorly. Personally I just charge in if things go really bad (usually not head-on, but it depends on the situation) and mess them up a bit before they take me down. Sometimes this even works out well. Surprise a few gimps hiding in the back and get a few quick kills.
I actually cleaned up a spawn camp once...with an LRM mech. They were soo intent on catching all the guys dropping in that I could sit back at range and annihilate them. (LRM 90 with 2800 ammo...think "garden hose of LRMs"...although I don't usually bring LRMs to CW) On the other hand I made that game longer. They were still a 12-man and eventually they still got us...having killed most of us in the original spawn camp. But that one was still fun.

Match score gets the event point. So its 20 matches with a total score of 80 in each.
The total match score is calculated by your match performance - damage, kills, assists, spots and so forth. IIRC damage is 1 point per 10 damage and the other things are 1 point each.

10 hours in match. How many hours to find 20 matches? I guess we'll be working hard to get a 12 man running.
We need an OLD signal to shine into the sky like the Batsignal. Two crossed canes?

There is no "pug only" queue, but you can certainly wind up in a match with close to 20 solo droppers.
These are great for making points....but they also generally take the full 30 minutes to play.
Hmm...maybe I should setup another 4 mechs. Then if I die early, I can start another match with the different mechs. ...I assume this is doable, never tried it before.
