I like my 3 SSRM2s and a medium laser, with the SSRM2 cooldown it hammers lights pretty decently but thats about it.

4 CERML I'm sure is good but I cant bring myself to not use missles on the little bugger.

MLX-PRIME

I use this build. It works pretty well, but it is a bit slow for my taste. Mostly because I haven't tweaked it.

If you did tweak it, I'm sure it would work very well.

Jump Jets and ECM = Give me ERPPC and a sniping i will go.

Its fragile but skilled up I can see it being pretty good working on it on and off myself and see flashes of how it could be very nasty. Biggest limitation is all equipment and weapons arms only and those arms cant take much. And while fast its not crazy fast which would help it alot.

Keeping in mind while skilling up a mech I keep stock Pod layout just redo weapon load out. I have the following.

Prime - 2 MG and 2 SRM4 I seem to have settled on best as anti light during start of battle and then hound at end to hunt down hurt mechs
B - seem to be settling down to 2 SRM6 and 3 ERSL this one I still working on a layout
C - LPL or ERPPC and ECM sniper bot ECM plus long range makes for evil combo.

Given the ECM and small profile it works fairly well at actual recon. I run with an CERLL and TAG. Sneak around behind the enemy position and light em up. Use the CERLL on legs and arms when they are already taking fire so it is hard to pinpoint you unless they are paying attention. You won't top the damage boards and you are very dependent on what weapons your team brings but I have found it can certainly swing the battle at the right time, especially tagging missile boats and poptarts.

on every variant I have.
most of the game not going under 500dmg - mostly no kills but all those flankings, assists, kills most dmg dealt, component destrucion.

IMHO. 2 srm6 plus lazors is the best you can do unless your bad/have HSR issues with srms.

I prefer 2 erml+2srm6, but the small laser options work too, as it runs significantly cooler.

But IMHO again the srm12 is necessary to have the hitting power to be something more than a gnat that hopes nobody notices him. Strike fast and hard; 12 srms is 24 damage + lasers, then get clear.

The MLX is not a good robot, bit at least with the SRM's it can hit hard enough to be a credible threat.

4SPL is a pinpoint 24-point alpha to 185M that cycles crazy fast and is extremely cool-running. No SRM scatter, no heat problems and no ammo. I messed with a bunch of builds while mastering mine and 4SPL and the ERPPC/ECM ones are the only ones I consider usable, even in solo queue. Though I do have a 4ERML build I want to try in CW. :D

If you're going to use SRMs, I'd lean strongly to 4s. 6s without Artemis are LBX/LRM level dispersed unless you're face-hugging, which you can't do in a MLX.

Kinda stuck with the stock omnipod configeration of the prime, used the missile quirks and ballsitic hardpoints, made this
MLX-PRIME
It's quite amazing in CW, however I do have a bit of an issue in normal matches.

Another hting to add is you can get rid of the machine guns for 0.5 ton less SRM ammo and artemis or just add 1.5 tons more ammo for SRM's.

PGI will probably give it a 150% longer ballistic cooldown, make it have beam length long enough that it fires again before it finishes firing. and hardwire the Missile weapons.

People would probably still say it's OP...

that out of hte way, this mech was designed to replace the mist lynx, nto going to be surprised to see it do better.

Night,
If you have the prime buy B arm And c arm and put 4 Er Small lasers on it. Hear me out..... You can put TC 2 on it also. You have a 20 point alpha that almost never overheats that shoots 226 meters short and 450 long. With range and cool down modules on it,it becomes a murder machine. Just try it....The targeting computer adds some range and info gathering so it's like shooting a AC 20 every1.3 seconds.
Haven't taken it to CW yet. Not sure it has a place there. Have seen a few Claners do well with it in a pack especially JFP.

I just run 4 ERML on mine. Typically do somewhere between 300 and 600, have done 800 in it once. I only use it in my CW drop deck. I have an ECM+2 ERLL one and an SRM one, but the 4 ERML one has been the best for me so far.

MLX-PRIME
I've run that with mild effectiveness. Find another brawly light like a Huggins, FS9 and give them ECM while picking apart their target with the SRMs and MPLAS.

These are the builds I've run in my Koshi series (just using the prime since all the other non-arm omnipods are just for quirks taste). Also, I forgot to check the LA and Hand Actuators when throwing these together . . . it has those, obviously:

MLX-2xMPL, 2xMG

MLX-ERSL, 2xSSRM2, SSRM4

And of course the 4 energy + TC builds people have been putting up.

Although I haven't bought/run the A I've considered a build like this:

MLX-2xERML, 2xMG, 2xAMS

Just going to second the 4 er medium build. Runs a bit hot, but it can do decently enough. But remember, friends dont let friends drive mist lynx.
