Speedo marked "Slow.... Less Slow".

Gotta love it.

First Russ takes a gamble (in his mind) and greenlights my little pet Trashcan (thanks Russ!)
Then he takes step to ensure "Minimally viable product" (possibly more, but meh, minimally viable is enough for Urbie, let's be honest)

But then..each day of the pre-release.
-The oh so serious, but Awesome Urbie-Stein rework
-"Deal with it" 8 bit Sunglasses
-Garbage Can Badge (knock the "quality if you want, the idea is still funny)
-Garbage Can Popper (best dash item EVER)
-And now the Death Blossom Aprils Fools Day video. (Which is very well done, thanks, PGI)
And then I notice that little gag in the cockpit.

I appreciate that PGI is having fun with this. Wish sometimes the Forums (myself included) could take a step back and do that more often.

One could argue they're having too much fun with it. :P

But damn, it's funny and I love it.

At least this means they are taking pride in their work. Usually good quality is a result of such a mind set. I just hope this content shows better thoughtfulness and foresight over previous releases. Things to watch out for in a new light mech will mainly be any hit reg issues. Next, it's default fit. Then what the meta fit is and why it is the way it is.

Love the video but I need a quick verification

Death Blossom was the special attack from "The Last Star-fighter" correct?

It is so decreed:
- All R63 Urbies shall mount MGs and Small Lasers
- All R60 Urbies shall mount AC20s
- All R60L Urbies shall mount PPCs
forthwith.
All digital displays shall be removed and be replaced by manual controls including stick shifts.
All UrbanMech pilots shall be prepared to be tested in the Monster Urbie Challenge of jumping over as many Atlas as possible or the Grand Canyon wearing Evel Knievel colors and camo.
That is all. :D

I think some of us are here and often vent more then just frustration from the game onto these forums...such is life. I think most of us that are still around know but things like the Urbie can unite new and old friends and hopefully be a *%& load of fun for everyone in the process!

I will after april 7th be visiting the Church of Urbie every Sunday and play it till i go to SLEEP!

Too bad one can't join two units at the same time. HHGD runs in my blood, but there should be a League of Urbanmech. :)

Do not forget the Gauss sniper urbie! It will sit upon high peaks and reign screaming metal balls of death upon it's foes and doubters! It will be the turret of destruction supporting teammates in all directoins. Granted with two JJ's you'll be hard pressed to get up a small hill, but hey I can dream can't I?

I noticed that speedo about the second time I watched that video. I thought it was hilarious.

Im hoping it is actually part of the cockpit, but I'm guessing it is really a mounted item. Still, just hilarious.

The Church of Urbietology is open to members of all units, all factions. For just 20 USD.

FASA did it all the time. Remember the Fluff in many a rule book? Have you ever read the names of the officers in teh "official" Field Manual:Updates? Names like Nin Ten Do, Ace Darwin's "Pink" Panther, There is a story where a Mechs back armor was replaced (field refit) with canned Chicken tins.

I guess no one noticed the Duct Tape holding the cable up on the top left corner.
