its a joke playing it .... not worth the 15M dont buy it(buy a galactic cheese burger instead)


no build is good on it

It is a very viable mech. If you think that is bad, try the Gargles.

Actually I was rolling it last night in my WHK-Prime(I)...

2xERPPC
2xLRM15
3xSML PULSE LASERS

and let the good times roll! I even managed to take down a DWF with the help of some friends on the hill! :D But I out brawled it up at 250m because i was more mobile.....simple as that.

WHK is a fine mech...the other one I like is

2x LPL
3xMPL
4xSRM6

You cant go wrong with that one leading a push in CW! They are pretty tank if you twist!

hah this.

And you can still make usable builds on the Gargles... not... GOOD builds, but usable ones.

The Warhawk's biggest downfall is it's geometry and resultant hitboxes. You simply cannot protect your side torsos, and lack the armor to take much of a hit to them. As such, the Warhawk really needs to be a ranged fire support mech.

The Wubhawk, 4 large pulses is a solid enough build. With a range mod, you're pushing out to 660m, which is pretty decent.

Um read above, mine is only 1 build of many. it just so happens to be the one that I like to play. The mech is completely viable, just Learn 2 Play it

Also depends on how you use it.

WHK-PRIME

It's one of my best performers, just don't be a tool with it, take your time, use advanced zoom, and pick your targets and time your shots.

or if long range is more your shtick...

WHK-PRIME

Advanced zoom, and range mod 5 to taste. And again with this version, don't be a tool with it. Most clan mechs are not brawlers, they are too hot for it, and lack good strong single punches. DoT Vs. Burst is never a good fight for DoT.

But in the end, if you can't make a Warhawk work for you, then maybe this game is too hard for you?

BJ with an XL, you will go pop from splash dmg I am not afraid of BlackJacks in any mech....especially an assault with range to kill you before you got close.

You really can't do too many builds in it unlike the smarter puchases (Stormcrows Timbers Dire Wolves), but I'd say it's good enough to be enjoyable.

EDIT: Compared to similar mechs, such as the Gargoyle (hint: never ever touch this thing even if you got paid to)

I prefer 2 ERMLs 2 LPLs 1 Gauss.


Alphawarrior is an important part of MWO.

The word for that is, utility, and it is with out a doubt a good thing.

I also run 4 x LRM-15, 2xLPL, 3xERML, which is great for pugstomping.

With the -C I can change that to 3 CERMLAS and it is still heat efficient. Very strong.
