Not sure why most of you don`t realize that insane low TTK since first quirk pass did that to game play.

Coming from the small point of view of an FRR loyalist CW-only player (only play "normal" modes when CW is dead or ceasefire'd):

CW matches I play in are frequently better matched than normal matches. I've seen mostly stomps from my side in normals today, although we were stomped as well. No close matches. Maybe my ELO hasn't set properly since I almost NEVER play normals (record is awful, only stats from my first few games lol)

Not really, I went through a series of 7 or 8 games last night, that were all losses, and some real stops too 1 to 12, 0 to 12, 4 to 12.... I'm average maybe, decent at best but when I see multiple people in [228] or the likes on the OPFOR, I tend to worry... and that worry get's rewarded with getting my face kicked in... makes it hard to level a chassis from fresh....

Still I did manage to make a guy from the 228 work to kill my LCT-1V, on Canyon last light... made him chase me all over the map.

Its always amusing to see players freak out over that last fast moving light. I see calls about how bad it is, and how annoying it is, and how much time is wasted. People seriously ***** about the last man standing, and all I can think is: "You're dead, he's doing better than you idiots."

I think I used the words:

"If it's so bad, and I suck for running a Locust, how come I'm still alive, and your not?"

We lost, but I had a higher damage score than anyone else on my team, all 287 points that game... run in, zap, zap, zap, run like hell for a while, loop back, zap, zap, zap...

I tend to rub my hands together and and get ready to see just how good I really am. Every time I go into group Que with my Fellow Lawmen, I find out just how good I am not. MM and Elo working perfectly. My fellow Lawmen are better than me (Higher Elo) so when I have enough of getting kicked around I switch to the PUG Que, and see my fair match of opponents. Which I do good some games and crap others. Elo working as intended.

When I was with CGBI, I dropped a lot with their comp team... I was the token flunky... thing is, we got a lot of wins, and I think that put me a bit higher in chassis than I should be in PUGlife...

Same with me and the Law. It took me quite some time to level off my Elo playing strictly PUG. But now unless its an event, I can hold my own in most matches.

The assault got ambushed after being left behind by team mates?

Before 3/3/3/3, light wolf packs were feared for a really good reason. Nowadays, it's unusual to see the light queue at above 10%.

If it was directed at the OP I wouldn't know 'cause I wasn't in that battle.

If it was directed at me, I haven't run a LRM boat in a while. Lately I've been running SRMs, Lasers, PPC, MGuns, LB10X and AC working on the c-bill variants for Shadow Hawk. But when five members of your team die within 5 minutes of battle, you know you're up against some better than average players.

It happens. Dropped with my team 5RCT this weekend, we had one game (5man on TS) where our team got rolled by clan muscle.
Then we did some rolling, then got rolled but mostly had even fights.

there are games that as you make the adversary no harm ... 30 seconds duration fire from 200m to a Cataphract with 4xUAC 5 of the torso flickered in lock diagram on something visually all results =poor 100 Damage !!!!in return gave an alpha of two 'Mechs to my King Crab to scrap ... a timber fires in the run on a AFK Spider, and ACs only separates his left leg, then the left torso off without another hit zone even to scratch ..more than excellent Aim

So I had a weird discrepancy on my stats too. I had more deaths than matches played in a couple of my hunchbacks. Support got back w me on it. Turns out there was a period of time right after they released the new game mode for CW, counterattack. It was counting those matches in the stats for a week or something. Anyways hope that helps shed some light on it.

Joseph has the right of it, MM works fine for the most part, the PLAYERS are the problem.

Team oriented game putting 12 individuals per team together and it expects them to play as a team.

Humans being humans, that doesn't happen all the time and you get the 12-0/2 stomps due to the OTHER team playing as a team.

Yell carry harder all you want, it's a team game, lack of teamwork shows very clearly.

It is only bad when you screw up.

When you die in seconds, it may be hard to admit, but you did something wrong to get into that position.

I`m talking about over all influence that low TTK did to game play. It did more stomps and you guys are funny thinking all the time only about MM. Now we can discuss why low TTK has hit game play like this.
Teams do not have a time to react. First team that create death ball win and will win always, no matter what and how skilled individuals really are. So there is no other tactics other then death ball, all of this has gone after introducing insane low TTK. As I think about it, ECM inflation is influencing this as well in a bad way.
