Skimmed through, but I had a question more to accounts then all these features. With people racking up more digital content on their account and the changes the game with hit more popularity if it makes it way to steam, what at the plans for something like 2 factor authentication? Doubt this will get answer, or perhaps it is in another thread out there in forum land.

Question p1:
Are logistics or some sort of reality going to be a thing in Community Warfare?

Right now, mercs can just switch from Ghost Bear to Liao and literally start fighting, at full strength, hundreds of light years from where they were not even 2 hours before.

Question, p2
Is there going to be any tangible reason to be a house/clan unit? (Right now, the only advantage is some onetime rewards as your advance to a cap...then there is no reason to stick around.)

I don't mind mercs being fluid... that's what mercs are, but I wish they were a little more viscous...

Are there any plans to add sort features into the unit rooster tabs?
It would be really helpful to sort by Name, Rank, and Status.

Any plans to update the site with all the new mechs, maps, and game modes?

I would love to see a better heat scale system. Being able to over heating a mech with a 2.0 heat efficiency seems lame. Any changes coming in the future?

I would love if it was tied to IS/Clan mechs, though i am not sure if a software modification would be too difficult to make :huh:

A question about sound effects will see improved more powerful and dynamic sounds like for example the sounds in this video notably the impact , explosion and PPC sounds.

I saw this question and we don't need Russ to say it when the answer is incredibly obvious:

No, IS pilots will always have to pilot IS mechs and Clans will always have to pilot Clan mechs. If you didn't see this coming even before Clan Wave 1, then you simply don't understand the background for it. IS would never pilot Clan mechs until many years from now, and I don't think MWO will ever reach that part in the timeline because CW is a simulation of the 3050 clan invasion when the IS had no idea what Clans were at first and the Clans had no desire at that point to use outdated IS tech.

So no. Try asking your question again in about three years and maybe something will have changed, but I don't foresee it changing anytime soon.

First of all, Solaris probably won't be a game mode in Community Warfare - CW is about warring factions. Solaris is entertainment and has nothing to do with faction warfare. The only thing I can see is that you might be able to dedicate matches to your faction to win LP.

About George Ledoux... he loves the Mechwarrior community and we might have to throw money at him forcefully, otherwise he might insist on doing it for free because he's a nutter and a fantastic human being. I think it's very likely that he will be very present when Solaris comes to MWO, and Paul seems fairly bent on making sure that happens.

  • custom crosshairs, please let us choose a crosshair image (all types) for the game to load up and use, just put it into some folder, change some path in config, please

I am curious why the Grasshopper has quirks and weapons that make it far more durable and able to do far more dps than the Clan Summoner which weighs the same and supposedly has superior technology? Is it because you have already gotten out money for the Summoner and you knew that you would not be able to sell as many Grasshoppers unless they were better at launch than any other 70 ton mech?

I own and have piloted both mechs and the Grasshopper is far more durable and heat efficient than the Summoner even with only the basics unlocked.

- 4vs4 mode
- 1vs1 mode
- AllvsAll Solaris Arena mode
- Mauler, Marauder, Warhammer

Does PGI have plans to entice MORE players into MWO?
If so, have you guys considered an easy mode to get them playing and staying? This game has a tough learning curve.

Have you guys thought of including daily missions like companies such as Wargaming do with world of tanks and world of warplanes to give away like 1 day of premium time or consumables or small amounts of MC? I feel like these events will cause an increased player base and a more consistent stream of commited players
