I know the Warhammer is off the table but why not the Hammerhands? It even has an ECM variant and is well within the timeline.

The Hammerhands HMH-6E is TRO 3085, so about 30-ish years out....

The ECM variant is not going to be available until way later. But most other variants are fine.

edit: ninjaed.

Warhammer may not be off the table, so long as it's more of a Reseen look per the latest Town Hall. Warhammer name is Battletech IP and the Reseen look is supposed to be out of HG's jurisdiction. Bullock said he'd put aside legal funds in case Harmony Gold is still offended. He knows the mechs people request the most draw players, so know it's on his mind.

The Hammerhands is already "HG-friendly" because they allow Ironwind Metals to produce miniatures of them to this day.

Combine them, call them all 'Hammerhands' explain the situation to the players and be done with it.

It isn't like the Loki isn't close to the look of the Warhammer anyway.

That or call the Warhammer the IS version of the Loki and call the Loki the Loki IIC or something....

It is easier on this one and the Rifleman than it is on the Marauder since the Rifleman and Warhammer have 'lookalike' mechs.

The Hamm lacks a timeline variant I think, so maybe PGI could give a nod to the Whammy by giving us their own custom PPC Hamm variant?

I lop off my left nut, dip it in gold flake and mail it first class to PGI for a Hammerhands...

Little over the top but I have standards! :P

Yeah, Warhammer is sexier...

And the one that was in the 2009 Warhammer vs Atlas video wasnt that close to what is there...I mean, it was, but it looked different enough. The HG Warhammer has missile pods in the chest, the Mechwarrior Warhammer doesnt...thee are plenty of differences.

I'm a big Hammer hands fan and I'd love it if we got it in the upcoming resistance pack. We probably won't because of the Black Knight. I love the BK and all, but the Hammerhands (plus a couple others) are more interesting/viable than the BK.

IDC, PGI has brought in mechs that are either made up or not totally in timeline before. Plus, despite the last TH, I doubt we'll ever see the Warhammer.

That's why I'm saying just call all the 'Warhammer' variants Hammerhands too and then when/if the timeline advances to where the Hammerhands actually show up, just call it the 'new hammerhand' variants.
