25 mins waiting for a game as solo. spent 20 mins waiting for another before i giveup on Solo.

LFG took some time but in a squad of 9 atm 10 mins to find game.
Givin the wait times and game time it can be awhile before groups come up looking for more pilots.

We still have a huge gap in numbers and 1 game an hour maybe 2 is not ideal.

I don't think I've ever complained about this game before, but was told that in Redit people were deliberately trolling by queing up and dropping que when within 5-6 of a match....I have no way of checking this, but imagine that PGI does.

I have been waiting over an hour now, I've seen our 6 man group dropped repeatedly from the top of the que to the bottom....I love MWO - great game, but even with a week to do the challenge if it takes 2 hours a game, the goal is unreachable. NOT difficult, just impossible...

35 to 40 minute waiting time, then I got a match attacking clans on boreal...

I haven't played MWO in the last 1-2 months, for 2 reasons 1) lots of other games that I wanted to play instead, 2) when I was trying to play CW a while ago it seemed like hardly anyone was playing (UK timezone around 7pm). I was seeing like 5 or 10 people queueing on a planet which meant it was impossible to get a game going.

I decided to try this event, because it seemed like exactly the kind of thing I was excited about when I paid for the founders pack all those years ago. I figured there would be loads of players in game and it would be easier to get into a match.

But yeah, I'm seeing the same problems as everyone else. I managed to get 2 games this morning with only waiting 10 minutes per match. But this afternoon I've played 1 match and I was waiting for 40 minutes, constantly getting pushed back in the queue. I wouldn't normally wait that long, but I wanted to see if it was as bad as these forums were indicating.

And before someone says it, no, I can't switch to clan. I don't own any clan mechs and I wouldn't want to anyway. I want to fight for Davion. In my mind, constantly swapping factions makes the whole fight for territory pointless.

I guess I'll keep trying at various times over the course of the event, hope the situation improves.

I got 6 points so far. Ran 7 battles/drops

My take: Your mileage may vary, theres no come back on opinion!

• I run clan mechs
  
• I haven't had to wait more than 5 minutes to find a match.
  
• the other side be it defend or attack fills quickly. Couple times it went from full down 2-3, no clue why-then started over.
  
• ONLY two rollstomps, both were before the event started yesterday (duh..all I saw was 3PM, not its three time zones away)
  
• ALL the matches have been painfully, stressfully close- 4-5 alive on either side before the "tilt" just like pugs
  
• boils down to minutes, sometimes seconds before it was mercifully over.
  
• All matches so far have had no more than four premades, either side. Only used that (cutename) thing in front of players to guess that.
  
• From the looks of things, maybe 6-7 of the 24 total didn't get their point, again, about like pug drops
  
• The ONLY spawn camping I witnessed was my side finally got the ballz to charge, there were two alive left, so we all waddled to the drop zone and blasted them as they dropped. One guy bragging about it, got called a [redacted] and was told to stfu
  
• EVERY MECH THAT KILLED ME- WAS, IN FACT, AN IS MECH
  
• part II, all of our losses were to, IS MECH teams.
  
• Friendly fire as always in these events, pretty much off the charts.

tip: anytime you want to CW, make sure you click on a populated planet. Should be easy this weekend, theres only one, and its 99+ on both sides, eh?

Now, all that said, that was this morning and last night. I'm going to go try a run or two now.

Hardly surprising given that you're a clanner and the event is IS vs Clans.

I sorry to say but this event just goes to prove that CW does not work, how long do you need to wait for a drop.

Depends, if you're a clanner (and after a full repair of the install, nice job patch!), then no more than 2-3 minutes so far.. IS, is seems, is much longer...

Number 31 in line aiting for a drop - and it is INCREASING right now. Guess the 12 man are preffered.

Do I really need to wait 2 hours for a match. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET 50 MATCHES THEN? (50*2)=100 hours wait in an even that takes place 6 days?? (144 hours total).

thats not a pug on pug drop. No way on earth all your enemys are from the same faction (steiner) in this event. No way on earth. Its a 12 man who droped together without beeing in the same clan.

Uhmmmm..... 11 minutes now. I started as 36th in line. Finally moved up to 6th....

And now I'm pushed back to 35th in line....

This is a joke, right? PGI is trolling me?

If you can't get the 80 points, even on a complete stomp of a loss, you really need to step your game up. 800 damage across 4 mechs is not difficult in the slightest.

Provided you're not bringing stupid builds, you should get that with your first (best) mech.

Its worst event ever!!! I spend more time in queue than in battle . Some guy wrote he was in queue 3 hours. His patience is immense.

Well, the drop queue seems to be getting better :3 I've been consistantly getting matches at 10-12 minutes with a pug-12-man. Though, getting the 12 man readied up is a pain...
