Was busy most of the week with schoolwork and exams so I only got a chance over the weekend. Queue times meant I could only get a few games in. Only made it to 4.

I see that the growing trend fit my predictions, but hey, everybody knew that the clanners were getting double the games in the same time frame. Honestly, more spheroids should have switched sides, if there were equal # people in both queues it wouldn't have been such a one-sided personal challenge.

I got 15 points from 15 games. Queue times were the main reason I didn't get more. Dropping solo was just an exercise in frustration - getting down from 15th or 20th in queue to be 2nd or 3rd, only to get dropped back to the end of the queue. Last night I waited over 20 mins for a game, getting bumped back 3 times in the process. The only plus point was that an AS group finished their match in that time so I could join with them.

As for swapping to Clams, we might have done, were it not for us being under contract to fight for Kurita. And a good merc never breaks a contract ; )

Not all that much longer than public queue and far more rewarding. To be honest, I grinded a lot: 77 CW drops in 4 days.

57 drops and 56 points but only because I am unemployed and was able to put a lot of time in. The 50 p. was not a reasonable limit to someone not, unemployed, on holiday etc.

I didn't vote because while I didn't get my 50, I wasn't going for 50 points. I only wanted the warhawk so I stopped at 40 there. I was on the clan side, solo. I never had to wait more than a few minutes per match at most and frequently got instant matches. I never failed to qualify in all of my games, I got my point every game I played, even in one game where one of my mechs was insta killed from being spawn camped.

It's not a "taunt", it's an encourage to join a clan faction. Getting outnumbered 20 to 1 (at times 30 to 1) might be canon but it's not that cool in game.

OT: i finished with 35 points of which 34 registered in time.

I saw people complaining about 7 second queues. They died pretty quickly and pretty sadly.

More mature gamers tended to be far more of a threat.

Got my 50th point 30 minutes before the ceasefire. I feel kinda burnt out but on the other hand, I've got a f*uck ton of C-bills now. I'm thinking about selling the Warhawk-C because that one energy hardpoint doesn't make me prefer it to the prime variant with the c-bill boni.

Had I fun while the event lasted? It killed a lot of time for sure and I could watch the whole 9th season of supernatural on my second monitor... so I would say yes, kinda.

I gave up after only 2 points having realized that my 20 hour best case estimate for the Mech was about 15 hours out, I was not prepared to spend 45+ minutes a game (30 minute match with 20 minutes waiting for the next)

Played other games with my GF instead. I enjoyed dropping with groups for the ten games I did, stopped at 5 on my clan account due to the utter horrorshow of dropping with pugs. There is only so many times you can play CW solo queue (read:play it like it's solo queue) and keep your sanity:)
The rewards were not enough to keep me at it.
