Judging by all the high falutin' or "tough guy" jobs everyone seems to have, I gather either Mechwarrior draws a truly rarefied crowd, or more likely we are seeing your typical Internet Bullsh-t fest.

Ummm ... you didn't read the full thread did you. No offense to anyone but Chef, Software Engineer, and Student hardly fit my idea of "tough guy" status (then again, I know a few in each group that would kick my @$$). My job doesn't fit into that group either.

Read before you post and go troll elsewhere.

Senior Software engineer at a startup, I specialize in distributed computing.

To satisfy the "tough guy" comment above, I took 6 years off after the dot-com and was a pro motorcycle roadracer

I do IT work and write for CBS Interactive as a Technology Columnist. Whenever I get a spare moment, I try and save the galaxy from the diabolical Mortimer McMire.

At the current moment, I do not have any employer, but I think since it's become like this big thing, gaming should almost be a job. Sometimes, I even play a game and intentionally spot for bugs and glitches.
