I served 20 years between active duty, and reserves retired as a Smsgt flight engineer. Worked for disney for 20 years, retired early since their retirement age is 55, and went to work for a defense contractor building symulators, and trainers in 2006. In 2009 the company laid off 75% of their work force. I could sit back and live on my pension, but I would rather work. So I went back to school pursueing a degree in Business Management with a specialization in operations management. I've done the job just never got the degree.

I sell mattresses.......

exciting, right?

I honestly have always just viewed my job(s) as a means to an end, something to pay the bills as I journey through life. I decided against college, since the only 2 fields I truly enjoy don't pay enough to pay off the loans.... History and Marine Biology.

I also freelance as an artist when the whim strikes, and am about finished with my first children's book... if I can quit procrastinating on the editing (I am somewhat mercurial in these endeavors).

But in support of my desire to see and experience new stuff I have worked as a Wildland Firefighter, Pool Cleaner and repairman, Arborist, Carpenter and Drywaller, Landscaper and plumber, butcher, chef and lots of different sales jobs.
