I was a bit bored and wanted to find out who are the "top competition". As far as these win rates go you
can mainly deduct the level of organisation of these groups. It does indicate the efficiency also to some degree but should not be trusted 100% on that part.

What I think is really impressive is the really small units of 20 or 30 members playing nearly the same number of matches as units with hundreds of members, not to mention some of their win percentages.

The thing is, those stats not show how many guys actually played more than 1 or 2 games. For my unit, it says 6 guys played. I know for a fact that 4 of them only played like 3 games each, while 2 easily played 50+ games.

You can't see if all guys played the same number of games, or very few played many and the others played only a few. Those stats juts show how many played, how many matches and how many wins. Judging from the stats of my unit, you couldn't say it was just two guys solo pugging pretty much the whole event (due to working hours)

Wouldn't read too much into those W/L stats, since they don't show if the unit actually dropped together. If you have a few guys solo pugging the event because they don't find a time to play together in one unit, it will totally screw their W/L. Solo pugging CW against 12mans usually doesn't end up with a 85% winratio.

There is NO OTHER STATS....there is no IS v IS stats or CLAN v CLAN stats.

This was a Clan vs IS event so i am pretty positive all stats you see are Clan v IS....


Do some maths, find the win rate and then do some more maths IS v Clan.

I know that I played 56 games and got 56 points. But wins vs losses...duno?

Meh...suppose it doesn't matter as it was totally PUGs for me for the whole event. But I'd like to think it was better than 50%.

The most supprising thing is that none of the Steiner units managed to get past 68% win rate.

Also only 11 IS units made it past 70% vs 21 Clan units.

Keep in mind that those stats aren't totally during 12 man groups. Even if the majority were 12 mans, they weren't corp / clan specific 12 mans. To say that one group of people did worse than others is not taking into account that the majority of your clan may have solo dropped or were in small groups. When that happens, PUGs happen. Or whatever else in there.

TLDR: To say that a corp or clan is good or bad (has skillz) based on this data would be in error.

I almost wish it wasn't the first option on the list for contracts b/c I wonder how many just shrug and choose Davion before they even know what they're doing...
Not excusing us, mind you, but as casual as many RRB members are, I am surprised we topped Davion in the rankings... I haven't crunched the numbers but it looks like we didn't have nearly the participants other houses had and, well our win/loss as a whole sucked....

You're right, mixed groups were quite prevalent.
