Sidetorsos are way too weak. You can only play lrm boat when using m-dog. It does lrm boating really well but it would be nice if you could use srm, lasers on hands etc.

Did you up-armour them? The stock armour on them is soft... But it does SRM and LRM well, well mine do...

I'm seen many a brawler Mad Dog in my day, but I do believe a minimal buff is in order. Maybe 10 armor 5 internal on each?

I think it would be fair to give a small internal structure boost to the A torsos, and then more significant boosts to the side torsos that have fewer hardpoints. That way it's a choice between having ALL THE MISSILES or being tough.

I run 3 armor in my back.

Try it if you think your torso is too weak.

Get this suggestion through committee and out onto the Senate floor, pronto.

it works great, you just have to avoid torsotwisting, to spread damage, because then your CT will nearly not take any damage while your ST easily pops. facting with slight twisting works better to twist damage.

A small structure buff seems fair. The side torsos do seem a bit squishy.

The Warhawk, Mad Dog, and Nova could use a bit of a side torso structure buff. These mechs by design can not twist off damage as well as we are used to doing in other mechs, in these mechs when you twist you lose the enemy facing torso quickly. Unlike the Atlas, Banshee, and Awesome that can twist to tank soak damage.

Those torso's need a huge adjustment on the hitbox, even if it ends up being a little like the dragon, they need to be spread out a little more fairly.

I mean ffs, look at all this surface area, how can you Not hit those things?

A Mech that runs 90kph and fields i.e. 6xASRM6 + 2 ERML does not need buffs!

I know a mech that has MASSIVE structure buffs to its exposed component... yet it can shoot dual AC5s like machine guns.
