If you own a founders mech its guaranteed you've had it for a long time now and I'm sure owners of them have revised their builds several times during the years into something pretty tailor made for your play style.

With a founder mech event happening I'm keen to see what people have come up with after using their founder mech for so long.

Here are my 4 tried and tested loadouts:

Jenner:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...b29866c02d917e8
I always do pretty well with this if you can run the SRM ammo dry then you have had a good match. Played this build to death but lately haven't used as much after i tried out Firestarters on a friends account and it made it feel a bit weak after that :( (Please PGI give our Jenners some bonus CT armor quirks!)

Hunchback:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...1bbd78ac7fcffa3
Yes i know no AC20 missing out yadayadayada i haven't changed it since quirks and don't want to rebuy different modules cause I'm stubborn. Still i like this build good range and you can pretty much fire directly behind you while you run away at 98KPH with the arms plus it has no heat issues.

Catapult:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...f927c42e0e78694
New build since ghost heat upped on large lasers simple to play and strong performer for me so far.

Atlas:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...ed8991480b44af9
My all rounder Atlas does good on every map more range than my other 4 Atlases. Playstyle is to run the LRM ammo dry early game then use that side of the mech as a shield as much as possible.

Edit - Front back armor values aren't what I use didn't really adjust them from what smurfy did from pressing full armor button

Used to carry a 225, but I found I needed a skosh more ammo after quirks.
Bishop's HBK-4G(F)
Anyhow, it's my little Can Opener, my primary mech, and the only thing I would rather run than my Urbanmechs.

JR7-D(F) Mosquito
I'm not much of a traditional Light mech jock. But I am a pretty decent spotter. And I can be a right nuisance if my team packs LRMs.

CPLT-C1(F)
Used to swap a laser for TAG, but decided heck with it, and just figure I'll laser whatever has ECM, instead.

AS7-D(F)
Honestly don't think I've touched the thing in a year. On the rare occasion I Atlas, it's in my RS

Jenner
Hunchback
Catapult
Atlas is still stock. I really should name her Hangar Queen because the poor gal has not seen combat since the early days of CB.
Not much I know, but they work for me and that is all that matters.

you link that right Bishop? If you remove a heatsink you can put in a 225 get more speed and have a true in engine double heatsink.

I like your wubcannon Bandito i haven't tried out a triple LPL build yet. That and I'm a fan of having no empty slots left.

you indeed could. But that would mean I have to buy one. I really dunno why I had a 220 laying around, but I did. So that is what is in it. You asked what we RUN, not what would be the idealized build. I suppose I could just break down and buy one...but I have never gotten around to it. And it kills enough I suppose I forget about it. Maybe I'll remember to do it next time I fire the client up.

Thats cool Bishop i only mentioned it cause you said you used to run a 225 then i noticed a 225 fit straight back in with what you linked without touching the ammo supply. You can can open your way up to 15 points for the 2mill cbills and show it some love.

true. I think I deepsixed the 225 back when MGs worked for about 30 seconds. Because my build used to pack 2MG also, and I think I had to use a 215 even to make that work...... had some odd builds at various times.

HBK-4G
I think shooting a Hunchback's leg is taboo? I rarely suffer leg lost in one.
Stock weapon loadout, upgraded to STD 250 engine and extra 1 1/2 ton of ammo.

CPLT-C1

XL300, 2x PPCs, 2xML, 2xASRM6 with 2tons Ammo.

Because fox the quirk meta. PPC all the mechs and if someone gets close, splat them to pieces. Medium lasers are solely to taunt people at long range with a light show.

I find that the arms are small enough they usually don't fall off until you lose a side anyway, I prefer to have the extra ac20 ammo instead of a third medicine laser, this build also means you can shield yourself comfortably with one whole side and not worry about losing weapons or ammo.

If one prefers you can drop the CT ammo and some leg armor to armor back up the other arm and put a third ML there.

I've tried something similar. Too hot :( I might revisit the idea though. I do like PPCs on the Catapult C1 for some odd reason.

CPLT-C1(F) Wolf Killer

I use SRM6 Cooldown + Range for extra punch. Not as crazy effective as it was back in the day, but still highly maneuverable. This mech has won 1v1 against Dire and Timber wolves so many times that I felt it earned its nickname.

I will probably use something like that (one year has passed since the last time I changed those builds!). Unfortunately I can't play during the weekend though.

Quite standard Jenner: JR7-D - XL280, 4xML, 2xSRM4
Asymmetrical Hunchback: HBK-4G - STD250, AC20, 2xML
Catapult Jack of all trades (I used to carry it with a PPC ages ago): CPLT-C1 - 2xALRM15, 2xML, 1xER LL, BAP, TAG
Atlas, another quite standard build: AS7-D - 2xUAC5, 3x LL

I ran mine with 32 leg armor for a long time, never got legged.

People still get mesmerized by the Hunch.....not realizing, apparently that it has the highest HPs of the whole mech.
