I know, it's heretical to not mount an AC/20 on a 4G, but, I never found my groove with the big gun ( I admit, I've not tried it post quirks, someday I will). Sometime in early 2013, I through this build together... and I've never looked back. I've had sooo much fun with this config. It's excellent at suppression, can attack at medium to long range as needed, and it can do very well in brawls. It's been hilarious to attack clan mechs with this thing, as the autocannons just relentlessly dig into them. It's a beautiful sight.

But yes, you're correct. AC10's on a mech with AC10 quirks is bettererest.

I know it ain't founders, but even if I found AC20 boring, I'd suck it up for the weekend (I don't btw) and run what fits 4G best.... then use my 4H after the weekend. Call me crazy, lol.

Revived this 'Mech for the weekend and spend several millions rediesigning the entire loadout. Primary weapons are the ACs and MPLs with LLas for long range coverage and LRMs to make up for the lack of speed. Before I had 2 less heatsinks and ASRM12, but that ran way too hot in a brawl.

What kind of teams are you running with that you get to fire a single AC/20 more than 21 times? Usually by the time I get to the last ton of ammo there's barely anyone left standing.

ones where i usually am the last mech standing.

And more often than not, it seems, I end the match with an empty magazine.

First Founders match.....900 dmg. I'll take it.

I did my founders last night with Lrm 20/LRM 15, LL (x2) and ML x2

I managed to get 11 assists and Bridesmaid title all in one go.
