Clans are meant to be stronger invading force ... are it stands IS seem to be kicking the living death out of all the clans ????? is this unbalanced Quirks ? or .. numbers issue .. map reset was a bad idea people don't want to play CW even more now ... all that hard work, time put in gone !!!
there's hell of a lot more 12 mans rocking around than playing warfare... the tournament's help pull players in

but just falls off when they end

maybe higher rewards for CW more Cbills and XP ..

Pgi Putting most of there energy into CW. but I think we need more clan Units

A lot of units are doing the mech bay grind cycle now, and there are more IS factions to cycle trough than there are Clans.

I've heard that some people are "temporarily" switching factions to earn some of those rewards.

I've also wondered where the Clanners went. I stopped playing MWO from January until March due to PC problems. During that time, I've heard that the Free Rasalhague Rektpublic was down to THREE PLANETS. When I've returned (End of March), it looks like the FRR was slowly taking back planets up to ~50 planets before the Tukayyid event.

Not really sure where the Clanners went. CBGI that was supposed to be destroying the FRR seems missing.
Quite frankly, I don't like how the Clanners are not destroying us

Problems remain with rewards, waiting times, and technology access... among others. The only players who can access CW regularly are those who can drop with units - and then they can run into ghost drops.

CW is a start - but A LOT of work remains before people are going to participate freely in the kind of numbers needed to make it popular.

At least it is improving - but it sure could use some more players. I, for one, actually want to play it. Got in a whole single game yesterday... a close fought match that ended when time ran out... 47 to 44.

OP: Currently, most of the Clans players are doing a break after the Tukayyid event. And most of the Mercs have switched again of side.
It has been a recurring problem, there is more Mercs than loyalist in both IS and Clan side, meaning it generally depend on wich side got the most Mercs.
And most of the time, it's the IS.

But yeah, there is still imbalance between the IS and the Clans, especially with overquircked mechs. Just like the Clans Mech were close from being OP when they arrived. (Currently, only 2 clans mech are really viable, the third one is only saved by the ECM he can carry.)

To be completely fair, shouldn't a balanced game feel like a very slow, gradual attack? Didn't all the clans start with only one planet? From the looks of it, Wolf and Jade Falcon were fairly successful in their first push, and they should gradually slow down as they go and start fighting on more fronts, if not losing ground. Nobody's gonna accept being rolled game after game because "the Lore said so", you have to give people an equal chance to win or lose, so when the clans just ran through everybody last cycle that was obviously unbalanced. When the IS started doing it back PGI finally realized the attack mode bug, which is now sortof fixed. If two clans are being fairly successful and actually have some planets, and two are on the defense, that's 50/50 winning and losing for the clans. Especially since it seems like the clans aren't fighting eachother at all, that's fair, as it should be the successful clan's goal to take pressure off the failing ones. Balance is when you win as much as you lose, not when you just obliterate everyone you encounter.

No one wants to play against the OP clan Timberwolfs or Stormcrows. As close as IS can get is with a caouple of quirked mechs, yet clans still have better weaponry overall and near unkillable XL engines.

I'm a bit confused. So IS fight the Clans, IS aren't fighting each other too? Can Clan or IS mech only be used while being pledged towards a specific clan or IS faction?

This is what happens when all the purists saying "Clans don't/shouldn't use mercs" get their way. The mercs go IS and the whiney purists are no where to be found except the forums. They certainly aren't helping Smoke Jag or Ghost Bear.

Resoundingly so, except to the now defeated and deflated Smoke Jag and Ghost Bear clansman, because they had no people with which to fight back. All I saw all weekend was Wolf and Falcon defenders. Very, very few Jags and even fewer Bears.

You can leave the IS Large Laser and Quirks alone thank you very ******* much.

Best IS Quirked Assault: Stalker 4N
Clan Warhawk can match it for range, fire power, and DPS. Warhawk is much more mobile, only advantage Stalker has are high hardpoints.

Hellbringer and Timberwolf and Stormcrow are at equivalent power levels to any Thunderbolt

Clans biggest disadvantage are not having strong low tonnage options, which will be fixed with Wave 3 giving a great 30t and 45t mechs.
(and an even better 65t mech)

have you looked what's happing in CW ...

there just is not the number of Clan units that can field 12 drops

everyones is playing IS Easy mode
