Late Late Friday actually after many people had invested many hours into it.

It was actually done on Sunday between 3AM EST, and 9AM EST. I know, because when I went to bed, I was still up there, and when I woke up *poof*.

So...PGI...considering the fact that your leaderboard is busted, would you consider extending the Event by one day to make up for the lost time?

Actually, to be honest, this is really frustrating. First there was the group kerfuffle over the weekend and now this. It's really disheartening for us Phoenix Owners.

They made a new topic mentioning they are aware, and working on, it's in the Announcement board..

Greetings MechWarrriors,

Currently, the Phoenix Rising event is not displaying results. We have our top men looking into the issue.
In the meantime keep playing, we are 99.9% confident that we will be able to recover and display the match data.

I'm really confused about the voting in general, what are we voting for?

We'll get to vote if we (the phoenix-package owners) want the phoenix-packages to be available for purchase again.

Has anyone noticed that the kill counter sometimes goes down? That can't be right.

there's always that one "but" that keeps us hanging in suspense... insert appropriate pun.

it did that for the Founder's challenge last week... I even posted about it... only to have it bounce back after my post (thanks MWO forums for making me look the fool).

Overlord owner here. I would NOT want the (P) variants to be available again. Like the founder pack, these were a one shot limited package at a time when the game was NOT finished. It could be argued that this was as much of a funding boost in early stages as the founders pack was.

ANYTHING that was exclusive PRE-CLAN should remain so in my opinion. The Phoenix mechs aren't that heavily used. The most broken T-Bolt was most certainly NOT the (P) variant but the SS wubberbolt.. The Locust is arguably the one that is unique to the game, and the erLL spam while fun, is not effective enough to make it even a Tier 2 mech.

If you are going to offer the (P) variant, you might as well throw everything in the store for MC that's ever been made.. I for one think that this above all, if we as a collective allow PGI to start selling old packages, we are potentially allowing the content to stagnate, which is already a MAJOR issue in multiple facets of the game..

We want NEW mech packages, NEW maps, NEW game types.. I think reselling old content is not a good way to encourage these things.

This being the only older content they have. (Bar founders, which is overwhelmingly agreed won't be going back on sale.)

Being they have seperate teams for maps and mechs.
Being if they stopped mech production for a while with enough packs / funds to float them, they could focus purely on improvements / modes / maps.

We have a LOT of mechs and Mech Packs.
A few more clan would be nice, and access to at least Rocket Launchers within our timeline (to unlock several extra variants and a couple of extra mech possibilities) would be great.

There's literally no downside to this.

You know some friends of mine make wise cracks about PGI needing money which is why the keep releasing mechpacks and i always shrugged it off because the mechpacks were always new and it seemed like natural progression. But... now they want to go back and sell old mech packs again? Evidence seems to be shifting sides.

I'm a founder and i'll vote right now, and it's a no. Move on to new things you said it was limited time it should stay that way.

exactly my point... i own phoenix package and i really dont mind about originality and limited-ness of my mechs. when the mechpacks started coming, i was like "at least they are working on something - new mechs, new purchasable content"... now it seems that they dont want to put effort even into working on new mechs, so they try to sell the old one :(
i dont think that game needs new mechs anymore. mechs start to repeat and lot of are very similar (hardpoints and gameplay not design - design is awesome :) ). but i understand that its the only content that is paid and game is founded via selling mechs. so new mechs have to be done. but its kinda sad that only new mechs are produced.
yes, we have community warfare - that is not working very well and it seems like no major changes are being done
yes, we have new maps - that are done sooo poorly :/ game runs on cry engine but new maps look worse than unreal tournament 2003
i wish that this game will start to move :) it has great potential and i am fully prepared to spend money (again) here!

You do realise that the reason they're trying to put it back on sale, is because a significant portion of the community keeps asking them to.
Large numbers of people are contacting them directly and saying 'please take our money'.
As a business, you'd have to be effectively incompetent to not try and supply the demand.

Not 'oh, we're failing financially' but 'we're a business, and here's an oppurtunity to make a profit and expand'.

- Scoring is now reading est~ 50% of my counting matches, and/or taking est~30min to display them.
Almost there now.

Where is the poll then?
I understand some players want to collect ll the special variants. I myself wish I can get my hands on the Founders mech also.

But the Phoenix package is supposed to be a LIMITED TIME OFFER, JUST LIKE FOUNDERS.

I have no problem about others getting the package (for the regular version of the mechs), just make sure they don't get the exact same things. Maybe create another tier of badges and titles for them instead (and give the original Phoenix a copy too if it is something different)

On the other hand, according to this, they can/will instead one day also release the 4 founder mechs, without the titles, as a limited time only offer.

Don't get me wrong, I want the founders too, but they are supposed to be exclusive in some ways, as long as the Phoenix.

I don't mind if they sell it with special conditions, like, only an account of at least 1.5 years old can purchase or something like that, but doubt they would be doing that.

I just run into the infamous death star bug (http://mwomercs.com/...are-back-again/)

Before that match I had 2976 points or something like that. After that match (3 kills 2 assists and 581 dmg) my points are 3034. Maybe, just maybe the solo kills are rewarded too much.

It will unlock in around 4-5 hours forexisting Phoenix Package owners, assuming they reach the required 65,000 kills.
As of this post, they are 232 kills off.
