First hit out with it I got 1 kill, 8 assists and 681 damage. - Pugging. Team mates appreciated the ECM as well.

Looking forward to testing it further.

AC20, 4 MPLs with standard engine.

Cheers
Eboli.

I've found that that loadout is pretty much what it was built for.

Very nice gesture OP! I like this new phract, i'm running a very unoptimized build and am doing well. No upgrades what so ever, still using standard armor/structure, and single heat sinks. I added a gauss rifle and four medium lasers, runs cool enough and this thing tanks like crazy with the quirks it got.

Something like this I suppose?

Looks like I'm going to have to reinvent my CTF-1X which plays essentially the same role as this mech but with better weapon quirks instead of armor/structure buffs.

Cattys were my first mech. The 4x for pure dakka was a hard learning experience cause too face time for a noob SUUUUCCCCKKKSSS. But they will always be the first warmth in my heart. I LOVE the 1x, the 3D isn't my favorite even though it's supposed to be the best of them. For me the 4x is the best of them. The sound it makes when shooting. The constant visual pop you see on the enemy mech and the imagined tremors they get when they are getting pounded. I love it. I even bought the Ilya, but I don't see the draw, it's a mishmash of the 4x and 1x to me, trying to give you the best of both worlds. But I find best fit is giving it GAUSS and hiding in the back. I haven't seen the 0xp in the field yet. But when it comes out for cbills, i'm selling something for the mechbay and filling it with my GhostCat. (Also, how's the 2x, never rode that either.)

Now, I haven't played with my cataphracts for a while... I've had even gone so far as to get rid of all of them except my Ilya Muromets, (a mech which strangely reminds me of my mistress) to clear out some mech bays. Even with playing almost purely clan since the invasion, Ilya is still my most played.

So...

I just purchased the CTF-0XP on a whim instead of waiting until it was available for Cbills and I am suddenly super excited to get back into the cataphract saddle. So While I am patching (and probably repair tooling..) I decided to purchase another CTF-0XP and give it away to the first person to reply (who hopefully doesn't already have one of their own)

Enjoy :)

This was very cool of you to do.

Kudos, good generous sir!

As for the CTF-0X, it seems intriguing. I've enjoyed my CTF-1X a great deal and it's piqued my interest as a heavy brawler. Perhaps I'll pick one up myself. That build with 4xMPL and 1xAC20 seems like a solid performer.

Made a slight change - AC20 (4t), 4 MLs, 300 STD, ECM, rest in Heat Sinks (excluding arms).

Have also added 1/2 Gauss ammo to right torso with my AC20 to see I can at lest get a 50% chance of reducing chance of the AC20 being destroyed. It seems to be susceptible... Just interested in the results if it at all helps.

Found the the MPLs provided too short a distance. ML cooldown and range modules provide good bonus.

Very happy with loadout performance but certainly a "careful" brawler rather than long distance mech.

Cheers!

Wow, quite generous of you. I just feel that the lack of the high energy points in the torso will make it harder though. Let me know how it flies.

that and not having the Ballistic super high like in the lore art.

Hey Bishop, I know you buy a lot of mechs and I don't know if you've already gotten this one. If you already do I'd prefer sending a gift code to someone who doesn't. If not, there's a code for you!
