You didn't say sorry. You blamed me then as you blame me now. Know what? It's cool. You just keep doing things your way.

When were you going to post something that mattered? As for the rest being noobs...dropping with davion is literally dropping with noobs.
The best players Davion ever had are now MS mercs (read: not Davion) and the remnants of GK former 007 which are scattered all over the place.
Ohhh someone provided something that you said was impossible and now you have no response to the "impossible" ROFL
Just an FYI
007 and GK, yeah my units as well, In case you think I am wrong here's a little history lesson for you
007 was part of HHoD, yeah wait a minute that's my unit. I was a jenner in that group for a long time. They broke from HHoD for various reasons and went and formed GK, they asked me to come along but alas I could not. However dropped with them on a regular basis and many are still great friends. Once again another break up some with to 228, others to Lords some to SJR and many others to other units. I am one of the scattered ones you refer to.
So when you bring something up make damn sure you know what your talking about as usual your clueless

I love this guy he is so easy.

I have never had this happen to me. Generally, if I'm powered down and just tell them I'm setting up an ambush on that cored-out Whale, they laugh and give me a minute or so.

a ) team treason is forbidden by the rules
not enough good for you?
Kitty, let me give you a hint:
The rules in a society are actually sat to provide guidelines for a prospering cooperation of their members. It is not that society exists to follow the rules. Those rules are actually subject of change and subdued to society goals. If a majority of players disobey a rule because common sense tells them otherwise, you won't be able to enforce it.
Just use your common sense and you'll be able to find grey colors between black and white. Then you might realize that a shutdown mech is not adding anything to a prospering community and thus the team treason rule is bollocks then.

my time is valuable. i only get to play every so often. if you avoid the fight and drag it out for no reason you deserve whatever happens.

And you deserve to quit the match and start another one with another mech.
Not condoning his action but this is the problem. If you do not want to stay and watch. You have NO ONE to BLAME but YOURSELF.

Uh... this has what to do with the topic? If you look at the email I posted, giving away a team member isnt even really against the rules lol

And all those dudes on the other team? Screw them! If they were less good players they'd be dead too! In fact, everyone but the raging manchild in the corner should disconnect and start a new match!

If I am pressed for time and I think there is no chance for my lone team mate to win I quit out and start another match. If he pulls it out great, if not fine by me I am in another match. People seem to forget that they do not have to stay for the full match if they died.

If they don't help the team, they aren't part of the team therefore it's not treason to report then

i mention the rules mostly because it's a good reasoning, people seem to care what rules say so mentioning them improves your position
but i dislike this 'team treason' not because it's against the rules but because it's still a kind of treason
you have the free way out, quit and pick another mech, let them play how they like
also it seems pgi is going to enforce this rule, somebody mentioned that the chat for dead was supposed to be limited and will probably be fixed. you may rebel though, lol

On the 'against team treason' side: Tell me this, pray tell: would you consider it treason on the runaway player's side if he just hid all game and DC'd somewhere in a dark corner or something, making the game 11 vs 12 skewed in the enemy's favor and violating the non-participation clause?
And besides, the rules are here primarily so people have good fun (not the trolling sort of fun, but I tolerate that as long as it's harmless and/or funny enough, see Flamer spam). I hate it too if people reported my location when I'm trying to snipe them off, but I also hate people running around like a headless chicken just to preserve their meaningless KDR and wasting more minutes of the enemy's time. Remember that the enemies are fellow humans and players, too - would you ruin their fun just for your own sake?
And for the 'for team treason' side: would you like it if you were trying to snipe them off and then someone gave away your position just because he thought you were wasting your time? This goes double for when you already explained your plan to them.
Besides, I do love it when someone was good enough at sniping that they manage to turn the game around - it's the sort of games that the public gamers strive for, the nail-bitingly close fights where nobody's sure who's gonna win. If you deprive us players of the chance to pull that off and be proud of ourselves, you're ruining our fun, and probably the enemy's fun too (by removing a potentially worthy opponent).
Just my $0.02 (about Php 0.90 in May 25, 2015 rates).

Hello MechWarrior Buddah,
It's against the spirit of the game. We generally don't worry about it unless someone becomes really obnoxious about it. In theory, the chat system should be setup in such a way that dead players can't talk with live players, until the chat is fixed (post UI 2.0) ghosting is a minor frustration we'll have to deal with unfortunately. This particular rule may be enforced more strictly during tournaments and such (ie: ghosting could lead to disqualification).

Mostly as a joke I mentioned it because ... well....
Also; its not really against the rules
