This is a great question.

Long answer is, when you are on top everybody wants to take shots. We have been 'called out' for farming the full 48 of the other team. We have been 'called out' for winning 'to quick' when we are 24-0 and dunk OMEGA.

This is the fact you need to get your head around: It doesn't matter what [-MS-] does, doesn't matter what [-MS-] doesn't do, the people who lose to us are always going to find something. (ohs noes they killed 48 at the spawn; ohs noes they only killed 24 before they ended the game what cowards).

It is for this reason this tread is here. We acknowledge that it does not matter WHAT we do 'solo' players like yourself will NEVER be happy, and will ALWAYS find something to bash on us about. So...we decided to join everyone else and bash on ourselves a little.

Listen friend, we don't take ourselves to serious, and neither should you. I am honestly sorry you are upset that we killed you 4 times (3 at your spawn) while grinding out some c-bills, believe me when I tell you it is nothing personal.

This game is what it is [insert PGI blame here], and pilots choosing to queue up for CW with less than a full 12 are setting themselves (and their teammates) up for failure in doing so [insert your personal responsibility for your situation here].

As one of the people who periodically keep this thread going, I just think it's amusing. It's our morning comics over coffee in the breakroom. Nothing more.

Xavier started it in response to a number of rumors that had been going around about us and our influence on the game. But as time went on, we kept being the boogeyman for a fairly large number of people in the community. Making light of the situation just helps deflate the drama. All we're trying to do is play the game and have fun. We've taken the approach that being more organized, dropping with friends, and goofing around now and again is a fun way to do it.

If this thread ever loses its entertainment value, I'm sure it will dry up and turn to dust, just like any other. If you don't like its existence, well, I can't help you. Sorry.

BTW, I heard that -MS- is using their rumor thread to fluff their members' egos.

I've got some bad news for you, friend. If your team is showing up to CW with more than 1 player in trial mechs the odds are pretty good you're going to get spawn-camped by pretty much everyone, not just -MS-.

As for the "prefer" bit, I started another thread where you can see about a dozen units weigh in on how CW works and the motives units have for where they drop. I heard a rumor that significant portion of MS has issues with "to" and "too". No idea why tho, they sound completely different...
