Actually, the latest latest rumor is that FRR, and specifically, Mech The Dane, has successfully infiltrated Mercstar with loyalist FRR space viking troops, and is now using those troops to attack MS planets during the hours that the other MS troops are sleeping. MS thinks it is infiltrating the FRR for a takeover, while FRR is secretly engaging in the counter takeover. MS was attacked by Vikings, lead and supported by MS officers, using MS tactics... just this very morning. Why, had not the loyal Spartans awoken and intervened at the last minute, Buckminster would surely have fallen.

Publicly, this is being billed as just a training exercise.... mistakes were made.... etc.

I find myself just an innocent bystander caught up in the X-Files level of intrigue and power mad machinations of the two tyrants REX and THE DANE.

Just how deep does this rabbit hole go?

9,000 was the number of planets that we wanted to tag.

416 as of 10 minutes ago, but we had about 40 - 50 join temporarily for the event. They'll all be leaving shortly although some may want to stick around.

There's a hard cap at 512 also, so we're getting close to the limit.
