320 ping,pretty much unplayable.

Hey, let me know when the network is fixed . I typically have a 29-32ms ping. It's worse today than it was last night. Even chat only works about 1/3 of the time... I guess I'm calling it quits for a while.

I did tracert and ping tests last night for other issues I sent in.

I had several Request Timed Out on all the Ping tests.
The ones that worked,
One IP was usually between 80-120ms,
The other between 40-450ms!

Tracerts jumped from ~30ms to ~90ms when reaching Canada.

Probably lucky to even get 24 Aus/kiwi on most nights, it couldn't work.

A server in LA would bring it down under 180 though, and avoid this current bottleneck in Canada.

I did a tracert from INSIDE Canada, the jump didn't occur until the last three hops...
That said, testing as of writing this post, the issue appears to be resolved. I am back to 26ms avg over 20 pings, down from avg of 130ms last night and earlier this morning.

@PGI - is the issue resolved? And can we have an explanation for posterity?

We had network/internet lag issues here where I work in Edmonton yesterday. I'm not sure what they did to fix it, or if it was related, but it was resolved later in the day. We're next to BC where PGI is located. I wonder if some main network segment in Western Canada was having some problem.

Just seems very coincidental.

I think Scott forgot to pay the Internet bill...what a ****.

in Australia this ping is so bad u people complaining about 120 and 250 well guess what i play with 350+ normally and now this happens ive got 550+ i lag so bad i was killed and i didnt even see the enemy was alive full life dire screen froze and then had no arm jump again and dead total bs

PGI u got to fix the ping for Australian it not fair in the slightest

I usually sit around 60 ping when everything is working correctly. Lately I've been sitting around 95-150 ping with spikes upwards of 400+. Most games I can manage to play still but the past 2 days everything has been warping around the game so badly that I can't play the game. Hope to see this fixed soon.
