Since the list has been made public, I think it would be neat if the list of banned people could be auto-inserted into random mechs in the training grounds instead of "no-pilot", it would be fun to kill dirty cheaters whilst we test our mechs/weapons

The same can be said of supporting a person who's done some wrong simply because they are a friend, or "they'd never do that." How many times do we see that in the news? They catch some scumbag red-handed with a rap sheet a mile long, and then they're interviewing the punk's family, sobbing about how he's such a "good boy" when he hasn't been "good" in close to a decade.

He's not innocent, and neither were these scumbags. Defend them if you want, but be honest - that's the same level of animal behavior - "protect the tribe at all cost" - as you're supposedly denouncing.

That being said, as much fun as it would be to basically put their "leet" heads on pikes in the Training Grounds, it would probably just attract more trolls to try to get banned so they can live in infamy forever. Because trolls don't care about anything but being remembered.

Only problem with this is that supposedly some ALT accounts were cheating but the main accounts were banned also.... so what Pilot name goes into the Mech? This is all conjecture but some of the names on the list were ALT accounts... not main accounts.... and supposedly PGI is BAN Hammering the entire list of names and multiple accounts..

64 Accounts were banned... but not 64 people

That would be great, have the TG mechs swap to their acct name and every death goes onto their stats, essentially destroying all that hard hacked, amazing stats.....yes, please PGI, make this so!!!!

I sure as hell hope they ban the Alt & main accounts of the scumbags caught cheating. That is the point. There is no difference in breaking the rules with am Alt. Cheating is cheating & you shall be punished. I cant abide a thief or a cheat. Its too bad they cant publish their actual names and addresses, than we could really embarrass them. People need to learn to take responsibility for their actions, something the internet has let them take for granted. When I was young (ya before the internet) you could cheat at a game but you would get your as kicked if caught. You had to be willing to back up your mouth. Trolls didn't exist, (cause a fist in the nose sucks)

Society huh, well I consider reputation and public shaming to be a much better check on the scumbags of society than all of us living in a Tyrannical Police State. Its just free association doing its thing.

What happens in a game stays in a game. You dont cross a line to IRL harassment over a computer game cheater or not.
They lost plenty in account time and money investment, and deserved it, but just leave it at that.

I like the way you think.

We should have a tar and feather camo pattern and put it on the mechs of the people who cheated.

Scarlet letter.

I say go past the ones caught cheating and take a good hard look at the teams they were on. If as an opponent you could see how highly probable they were cheating imagine how easy it was for the clowns who ran with them every day.

The real scumbags are the ones on their team who said nothing and took benefit from it.

When you done with that look at those who were big forum warriors then look at their compatriots here. Put them on notice they will be examined closely. It would change the complexion here if the forum bullies knew they were on a short leash.

The best punishment God bestowed upon the Devil?

No one knows his name. He sought fame and worship, and now toils in total anonymity. So it should be for cheaters. Why immortalize them?
