Not sure about the eligibility for the poll, but for the event, we only have the Resistance 1 pack mechs in game, so quessing you need to have purchased the first pack,

I kinda feel the same way a bit, but mainly because there wasn't something offered for the Invasion owners to vote on. I guess getting IS planets and an LP medallion countered that.

True, but if they gave out Premium for lowest tier reward for every weekend challenge, then who would buy Premium? I know I wouldn't. Once a month sounds like a good compromise.

Id like to see more premium time rewards, I really get into the events when that is a reward for the lower tier prizes.

I hate leaderboards

because it is unhealthy... Because it ruins the gameplay... Because you can not have fun during one... because you can't do it and be done with it... Because it makes me want to puke for a month after the event if i hear or see anything MWO related (good thing actually)

And there it is, another slap in the face to IS players, another leaderboard only paying out MC to only the top 5 players.
Last week ALL the clan invasion owners got a chance at extra MC and extra time to do it to boot.

I cannot stress enough how much enthusiasm I have for the chance to determine which Resistance Mech gets a Champion variant:
It's zero.

I own all R1 Mechs save the Zeus. I won't even be using them in the tournament, since all the interesting rewards open to people other than no-life grinders are available to everybody anyway and my other Mechs are better (including the other Resistance variants.)
