So, thanks for Your hard work on your version of TIMBER WOLF, as I said before, this is best looking Timber I've ever seen.. RUsL done so great work on creating his model kit, I cant do it so professional for sure, but sadly PGI version of this mech is not perfect for me, at least.

If You don't mind.. I have rescaled upper torso a little bit, here are the results, I think it looks better but I waiting for opinions of others Timby fans before I begin to convert it to paper model..

Of course I don't mind. I shared the model to let everyone add in their own bit of creativity to it. Though I never really intended the model to be made into a real life model. As such, any changes that will help with whatever you're making is all right by me.

I just hope there isn't too much clutter with the model, though. I'm not really a professional when it comes to modelling, so things tend to be kind of messy.

Quality is pretty good but that does not matter because I have to redraw the whole model again, part by part.

Meanwhile I have given my old Flea MW4 model a second chance, upgraded details and painted in my new vision of Founders colors, as I said before, less blue overall. This was my first time with airbrush I hope you guys like it.

Tell me what you think about the new colors, I like them more, they are more mature in my opinion Posted Image

& I watched the video & the durability of the models has impressed the heck out of me. Fantastic work,i can't wait to look & see if similar modifications are able to be done to the mechs in my Paper Mech Library.

They must be build with this in mind, You have to reinforce the pieces from inside..

Ok more hardcore video ;)

Flea is ready, shadowcat is ready to be painted and now is time for Summoner, I wander what I can do with this old buddy, it is pretty thin and have old type of joints, also low on details.. well will see Posted Image

so after you extracted the mech.pak file, you get a "body" folder in the correspondent mech. Inside is a bunch on cdf files
once i converted all the cdf to obj format (0,5 mb each), then i can import those to Blender. Each file only represents a body part so i d have to reassemble all of it. I remembered in the old "how to import mwo object" vid, the guy said in older mech model like "hunchback" "atlas" has a file (about 15mb) that is already assembled all the components for you.
Pre-assembled model is already clipping like crazy so good luck do it by hand...

Iy is the one that is called "scale", so it would be timberwolf scale.

A question though. How would you scale the mech to a particular height, I am not good with blender, and trying to figure out things.

You can try the measurement tool blender provide, the number on display probably

> so Blender use "meter"
I tried my best not to mess with the overall size of the model. if you are planning to 3d print or model maing, you d want things to be consistent at the same size. The solfware that flatten the 3d model to 2d paper cut-out have a scaling function.
The hunchback_scale file of mine, with Pepakura (solfware mentioned above), i set the scale to 15. Finished product is 20 cm high

I will be honest: that Flea looks much better than the MWO's concept art. You just perfected the MW4's Flea.

Need to do the MWO summoner, but lengthen it's legs by about 10-15%.
