So if its official that we have moved past 3050-3051 can we please get the other three invading clans added. I know some of you will say oh but the clan unit populations will be smaller....

I feel ya. I'm actually a big fan of the Succession Wars timeline, but have a tremendous soft spot for the Clans. If CW Clanners actually had to fight like Clanners, it would be so much more fun. Instead, everything "Clan" is tremendously shallow and arbitrary. sounds weird to say, but this game needs POLITICS. This game needs theme.

Sadly I don't see how they could fight like clanners and not be totally annihilated... and yeah, I'd like to see the remainder of the invading clans show up as faction. ( even if they are just sub factions of the big four )

Every time this subject comes up I have to say:

Give us at least 2 more clans! If not playable, at least for content with skins and colours so IS can have 6 and clans have 6 too!

the spirits might end up with an even star.... they are one of my favorite home clans.... Add comstar to the is and then add the 3 extra invading clans

They haven't updated that in awhile.

Well that's interesting because it is the only reference I have seen or heard of since they put the timeline back to what the clock says late last year. The 3051 mechs became apocryphal after they reset the timeline.

Either Russ is confused or as usual PGI's left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. Assuming it is 3052 why wouldn't they announce it properly and reset the clock FFS.

There is not enough players to fill those four clans already in the game, so there is no reason to add three more clans.

Russ Bullock says that we are in 3052.

PGI simply doesn't care enough to update their own website, be it clock or gamemodes or available 'Mechs or anything else.

Sure, immuring loadouts of highly modularized omni mechs while the actually fixed Battlemechs are modularizable like crazy.

There would be numerous ways to encourage if not enforce a more "clans-like" style of play:

- remove consumables from Omnimechs, maybe even weapon modules as well (modules representing IS-tech "tinkering" on weapons that clans don't do)
- assign Loyalty points, maybe even XP and CB for players using clan mechs according to some clan-like rules (e.g. shooting at another target while the first is not destroyed yet yields no score, etc.)
