Why does PGI pay no attention to people on the forum what is the forum for if that's the case?

They are clearly reading every post in this thread... Alexander Garden edited someone's post around page 8 or 9...

And I've seen a number of ideas in the suggestion forum make it into the game.

They jist don't communicate when they are paying attention... But they are. And there's hard evidence to support it.

to clarify my position, I do not hate the mechlab, I hate the fact I cannot access all of it, and mech select is garbage... I have figured out how to improve my fps and all and was actually enjoying the game again, until the mechlab went wonky on me

The same question. Now it's very inconvenient to configure mech, it when you don't see quirks.This is a very thoughtless decision.
PGI do with it at least something!

I really hope that the new mechlab will show more performance data, like in the smurfy mechlab.
1) I didn't see any data about DPS calculation and other performance calculation that involved the quirk parameter.
2) I didn't find any summary about how much and what type of ammo that already loaded.
3) I didn't find anymore the overall weapon and equipment layout of the mech.
4) I didn't find what type of engine that used by the mech in the quick summary list, or am I miss it?
5) I think the way how to configure the mech in the smurfy mechlab is more easy, simple, and quicker. Why don't you try to use that way in the new mechlab?
6) I think the new mechlab is too much cosmetic but still lack of the important data/information, and still not simple when configuring the mech.
7) Every mech has base quirks, but if we use the module, the calculation between base quirk and the module should be shown if the module has the same effect to the base quirk. and you should show what the effect of using the module to the mech performance. for example, a mech has a quirk of balistic weapon cooldown, if we use a balistic cooldown module, is there any effect to the DPS?, if yes how much the effect is?. So, any effect or different change because of using the module should be shown in the quick summary list.
8) BTW, it's a mechlab right?, mech laboratory, so i think adding the slider of temperature, to show how the temperature effects the mech performance is a good idea, i believe that the battle field temperature has a significant effect to the mech performance.

Okay I slept a night over the new Mechlab and the Mech select page and here is my second feedback:

1) the mech select is just horrible awful. You need way too much clicks so select a mech
PLEASE bring the old Mech select back and enhance the sorting options and do NOT REVERT them every click.

2) the new Mech customization. Well... to be honest I do not like it as well. The reason is that you clearly notice that it was made for a resolution which nowadays is outdated. Deal with it that we have 2015 and Full HD is now the standard and even higher resolutions are used. The few PPL with old monitors are the minority (sry but this is the truth - take a look at Steam and the PC specs of 10 million PPL ... 8 Millions have full HD or above)
Furthermore I liked that you could "doubleclick" on items and they got attached to the mech. Now you have to drag&drop all items - a clear drawback when you assign 10 tons of ammo
And PLEASE lock the "warehouse" to the right side of the monitor - it is SOOOOO annoying that switching from "modules" to "equipment" and the warehouse is moving
Also why do you need to enhance the "Mech stats" which is then overlaying some customization windows BUT the Full HD monitor is half empty as you do NOT use the full space (I assume due to NO UI scaling)

1st beeing able to navigate the mechlab with keyboard! (e.g. arrow keys)

2nd add a strip all modules function

3rd let me choose a dorito color for my group mates

4th it would be nice to gear up equipment and stuff with a double click. simply fill up the next free hardpoint/slot

Okok, I spent like 5min looking at the new mechlab and while it will take some time to adjust to the changes I really so love it so 100% satisfaction there.

But the new mech select is dissapointing. Takes too long and for a HD resolution it is tiny and there is so much wasted screen realestate.

I do like the filtering but if I click the light catagory it should show me all the mechs instantly, this extra step in selecting the dropdown button with the mechs name on it for every single mech is just a pointless step. Then once I expand everything because the mech select screen is so small on my modern HD resolution I still have to scroll to see all my options anyway.

I dont care about the extra step to save to select a mech I just want to see all my mechs in a category now that we actually have some decent filter options.

I haven't been to the forums for a while nor have I played the game much recently, but I just had to log in when I saw what kind of a quantum leap forwards the new 'mechlab is. Congratulations on a job well done.

First my english is very bad,and never posting english forum.
But the new patch broke out the fuse :angry:

The quirk list see in the mechlab in expanded view.
-right corner Mech stats,and click the Expand/Collapse full mech deatails button
-empty mech bay numbers see the store options when you want buy some mech bay

This is the new interactive mechlab realy?
New mechlab,and mech selection is a bad yoke.
I wanted to take the new Resistance 2 package,but when i see this new "beautiful" mechlab, quickly i broke out of my head this bad idea.

Yep, first you gotta find them then you can catch them. Oh and stay out of the tall grass unless you have a mech with you. :P

Seriously I like the new mech lab but I think the mech select is a step backwards.

What I would love to see is a fist person explorable hangar with all the mechs in a la star citizen - well I can dream right :)

This new mechlab is killing my FPS. Please optimize. And restore the symbols/colours for energy weapons/ECM/ammo. Not sure why you would change that as it worked well. All we needed was something like the expanded view.

And I just noticed, my Summoner is shiny like the rest of my clan mechs. Cool.
