Why not let Alex run wild and make an all new Mech chassis?

you mean this? CPLT-K2 - Breaking the mold of the Catapult, the K2 model removes the LRM-15 launchers and replaces them with two PPCs which allow the Catapult to act as a direct fire support 'Mech and take a more active role in front line combat.

MWO hopefully will get Battletech back to mainstream life and how else to do it than by introducing some new kickass Mechs?
EDIT
Something like the "BMC-2L Louse" (insectoid (marauder-like) 15 ton mech with 2 small lasers (one on each forearm) and a streak SRM 2 in the right torso)?

Namely the Marauder and Warhammer ... really hope they make it into the game as without those the game isnt fully battletech for me.
I might be biased though as i played the tabletop for ages in the 3025 time.

OK, even I'm sick to death of that situation that I don't want anything to do with it.
I would actually prefer to let Alex Inglasis have a free hand and come up with some new Mechs that fill similar roles, like a twin PPC heavy mech.
Theyll HAVE to to do the Unseens that Catalyist have effectively given up on. Itll be slapping a well known name onto an unknown chassis, and we as fans will have to accept it lol Im not saying its a bad thing, Im saying the NEED to accept it. NEED to. Cause if theres a fan uprising every time they change something thats gonna be a bad deal

Also comes the beauty of the "reboot" and the fact that we influence the timeline. This means new mech manufacturing companies could appear after all.

I do hope that they let Alex make something original eventually. I think it would be awesome

But making a new mech and putting it into the game has been done before with great success.
I believe the Uziel was introduced through MW 4: Vengeance before it was placed in the TT game.
Stone Rhino & Kodiak was introduced in MW 2: Ghost Bear Rising.
Avatar appeared first in MW 3.
Am i mistaken? I know that all four of these mechs are very popular. Especially the Uziel.
