not really racking any massive scores yet, in anything. Seems 9 out of 10 YLW drops I get placed on Team Derp, so that's a little frustrating. Am running a 300std, AC20 and 2x ERLL Ilya build with some success. Just had an awesome, skin of the teeth, to the wire match where it came down to me and a Pretty Baby vs a Stalker 3F, TDR ERPPC boat, TDK and something else. (I had just finished splitting an Oxide that zigged when he should of zagged, felt good about that, since he had been backstabbing me, and I had already cored him earlier) The rest of the opfor was in the water on Crimson, so I said heck with it, and laid the crosshairs on the Tolt. He overheated, and died. The stalker followed. TDK was using the water to deflect ballistics as much as possible and tagging me pretty good, (good little killstealer like a TDK should be, he ended up with 5 kills on like 250 dmg) exposing both STs, but got a little predictable by not varying speed while he circled, so I got my lead and fed him a pair of AC20s.

Game. 10/12.

6 kills, but only a little over 600 dmg. But a heck of a fine match to remember.

Doubt I'll break 100 in either chassis, but I'm having fun, making some money. Did pop some premium for the weekend (got a hurricane offshore, so barring it killing the internet around here, figure I'll be indoors a little more this weekend.) so it's definitely being lucrative.

Kept it simple. STD 280 with 3 MLasers and 3 A/C5s (5 tons ammo). I ran 4.5 tons and a STD 295 for a while, but I could use more ammo.

Wow, I had forgotten how consistent my X-5 is damage wise. Fits really well with my preference for hit and run and brawler support. Went and got myself the only Cent I've never had finally (now I just need to buy back the AL to complete the set). I will probably try that at some point this weekend.

Wangs are great for Assault Mech backsides, too.

So....MM Elo Hell has decreed I shall not Wang today. I have had one match in it that didn't end in a 12-2 stomp...... My team won a 12-4 stomp. The other 20 or so? Team fell apart like wet tissue every single match. Was doing all I could to get a kill and 400 dmg on a "good" match.

Conversely, every time I drop in my Ilya Murdemetz?

About 80% Wins...... and we actually have had a LOT of close matches. Some stomps, but I'd say in more than half the loser accounted for at least 6 mechs.

So looks like I'm riding the Murdermetz till further notice. Simple and Brutal model I whipped up for the event. Won't win it, but It made me enjoy using Ilya again.

Been enjoying the Ilya, I have been grinding other chassis so long I had forgotten how much damn fun this thing is. Shame I'm not a better pilot, it would be nice to hit top 5. As it is up to 8 so far and that is likely as high as I'll get, I expect by the time I can get started playing again tomorrow I'll be down in the 30s at least and never make it up again.

Still nice grinding some extra cbills for all those other mech variants I want to get. Like the other two king crabs I need, another wolverine 6K chassis, and the thunderbolt 9SE. Not to mention all the gift shop mechs I want when they release for Cbills eventually, the Griffin 2N, and the 4 extra resistance 1 variants. Hmm going to need more mech bays at this rate too...argh.

Boar's Head, you can run it but it is not part of the event and gets no bonus.

Having not decided on the Wang yet, I broke out the only one of these I own, the Pretty Baby, when I am not running Zeus or the 4th Kit Fox. Yeah, people want to laugh now except here's the ranks of participating Heroes based on top scores.

#1 - Ilya
#2 - tie, Metal, X-5 & Wang
#5 - tie, Oxide & Pretty Baby
#7 - tie, Fang & Flame
#9 - Death's Knell

Want to know why some of these Heroes are bad?

No Weapons pass.
I do not think any but the Phracts and Highlanders got a weapons pass using the new meshes. Thus a number of them with Missile ports have limits on number of tubes that affects their builds.

I admit though I am surprised the PB is in the mid range of these.
