dual core is a big no for this game, not with pgi quality optimization, also you forget to add a cooler

You've apparently stumbled in from a general gaming forum. Most games (including most modern AAA titles) will launch with a dual core and have no problems running on them (especially the Haswell-based ones) because games are not generally CPU-bound. Also, OP said nothing about playing other games.

- Got a case, or a HDD we can recycle?
- Can you name any other games coming out within the next two years we should worry about?
- How hot does you place get, worst-case scenario?

What size is your case? How big is your PSU? I assumed it wasn't, thus the nVidia card …

Long Story Short: MWO Loves Single Core Performance & High IPC, In Most, if not all Cases, it's Intel over AMD, So For MWO Anyway, that G3258, even though it's only a Dual Core, it'll still perform Better than that FX-6300 for MWO,

I don't know why I thought I'd trust this guys current PSU.
And what make y'all think this gent is into overclocking?

We think he's into overclocking because we hate people that aren't into overclocking so everybody must conform to what we like. You know, or we can set you up with a time to talk to cousin Vinny.
I was pretty sure we had established quite firmly that MWO likes IPC and clock speed more than the amount of cores (at least 8 cores performs no better than 6 cores, and I think there's no difference between 6 and 4 either when we're talking about Haswell chips + MWO).

They didn't answer your specific question because they knew better. In MWO, Intel > AMD.
I wish you good luck with your build. You'll probably need it.

The difference is...I enjoy overclocking. So, here's my FX-6300 running at 4.7 GHz - which I've found to be necessary in MWO to even remotely compete with Intel/Haswell CPUs. You want to know how much of a difference you can expect? Well, here's an example of what your system *could* be capable of. And no, I don't really feel like testing it at stock settings - at least not right now
Here's a frametime capture of a multiplayer round on Frozen City Night. Somewhat of a best-case scenario, that map always seems to run a little smoother for me. Most frames are under that magic 16.7 ms mark (corresponds to 60fps, IIRC), so it's quite playable. Max framerate hit 91 FPS, but the majority of frames were right at 59, with a few spikes down to a minimum of 43.

Which is good. It shows that the changes PGI have made have had an effect. But he has no plans to overclock so he won't achieve that per core performance mark.

Maybe if you had stated you had already brought it; seeing as the OP stated you were looking at it people have given you better options.

Big Mistake buying a Prebuilt, Bigger Mistake going AMD instead of Intel.
Example of a $500 Intel Prebuilt vs Build:
