I'd like to see some quirks that encouraged <gasp> mixed weapon loadouts! Both ballistics and energy weapons. Maybe even - bear with me - missile weapons too.
The Shadowhawk actually has tremendous potential for mixed builds, because of the hardpoint combinations.
- SHD-2D - 1B 3M 3E. Give great ballistic buff, no danger of boating.
- SHD-2D2 - 1B 4M 2E. Give good laser (e.g. MPL) and ballistic buffs, no danger of boating
- SHD-2H . 3B 3M 1E. Give great energy buff, great missile buff, no danger of boating.
- SHD-2K. 0B 3M 3E. Going to be a laser + missile build no matter what, so no problem here.
- SHD-5M 2B 2M 2E. Give great buffs to medium lasers and missiles, no danger of boating.
I know a lot of people will ask for quirks based on the majority of hardpoints, but that's precisely the mistake that will lead to boring builds. SHD-2H turns into a 3xAC2 boat, SHD-5M turns into a 2xUAC5 build, SHD-2D2 turns into a missile boat, etc.
The Shadow Hawk is a versatile mech with mixed weapons in lore, and its quirks should reflect its versatility.
