Yeah, am a little worried, just because if hitboxes end up like I would guestimate

which is generally used in the meaning 'the most optimal way to play' (derived from this minmaxing and exploiting the rules to the fullest) i.e. well... generally it's overpowered comparing to non-meta ways to play

So is the Executioner not worthy of convo because it's not Shiny New Cauldron Born Preemptive MetaOverlord? Or is it just expected to be Bad and feel Bad?


I'm not wild about how the face translated, but otherwise looks long and lean, like it's gonna be tall, but not stuck with the usual Brickitis of too many mechs. And I still have reservations about its mobility based on HGN JJs and an obviously HUGE terrain profile (meaning without quirks, even with MASC it could find itself outrun by King Crabs up hills, just like the Gargoyle did, initially).......... And looking at the design, I do have some small concern about CT dmg magnet, but won't know for sure til I shoot one.

But I can't lie, my inner Ghost Bear is very sad that it couldn't be fit into my budget.

What are your thoughts, expectations, etc?

I dunno man - that torso actually looks fairly svelte to me, and the franken arm on the left might allow it to roll and soak damage nicely.

I imagine it will be a fairly boss brawler - maybe not to the standards of the Banshee, but still nice.

If it had high mounted torso hardpoints everyone would be talking about it. Looks like it might be quite fun to play though if they ever fix jumpjets, might suit my somewhat unsubtle brawling style.

im about 99% sure those wont be the hitboxes, because you have the ST mounted machine gun in the CT hitbox.

The Executioner is not too well designed hardpoint-wise. Its Right Torso which houses the 2B has also a fixed DHS which limits its pod space, six slots to be exact (thanks Mcgral18!). It's Left Torso has only 1E so people can't put 2x cLPL or 2x cERLL there. The high numbers of E-Hardpoints is definitely its saving grace. I think it needs more missile hardpoints on the (side) torso to expand the number of builds it can do but maybe that's not possible.

great catch, but that actually implies really bad STs then..... hmmmmm

not sure if that would be any better..... sure the CT would last....but...... no ct or H weapons.... mmmmmmmm
