Yep he was turn it on and off quickly. Basically it looked like pressing between 7 and 9 key . You saw no movment when it happen. The useage bar increased quick. Was maxed out in about 45 seconds of doing it. The target sights jumped all over the place when it was happening.
In the end it showed it didn't help in anyway.

Its more about the huge acceleration buffs man. I doubt I will use the sprint nearly as often as holding the MASC key for half a second here and there for acceleration.
this x100. cant wait to see MASC on more chassis, for both factions!

So from what I understand now is, it does 64,8 kph without speedtweek and 71.2 with speedtweek and masc on top of that making it even faster. So even if masc turns out to be a crappy gimmik like jump jets, it is still a bit faster than my fastes Atlas
which does 64.8 with speed tweek. I just wanted a clan assault that could keep up with my Atlas.
Icing of the cake would be if I can take masc out. Cause I already got a runner assault with the Gargoyle. I was looking
for a more balanced Clan assault. Strong armor, good speed, good firepower. Just like my Atlas. Not insane speed and crappy firepower.

- 13x cSPL: 78 damage of total firepower but can only be delivered with maximum effectiveness at 165m or below
- 7x cSPL, 1x cLB20-X: 62 damage, the LB-X shoots cooler and somewhat farther
- 6x cSPL, 1x cUAC/20: 56 or 76 burst damage

Of course you can but my post was actually aimed at Mar x maN because he was talking about his Atlas.
About configuring the EXE as a mid range fighter, I always try to be as good as possible highlighting his strength at close range combat because his design tells of an archetype brawler:
- humanoid shape good for torso twisting
- major firepower are on the arms which permits better aiming but located far from the cockpit
- relatively quick, and it got MASC which enhances this particular attribute further

I mean, look at size comparsion.
Smaller legs and body then highlander, which is still nothing against atlas or ban.
He has turtle power on his back, and top of that koala shut me in da face head.......

It's not a hype, at least what I do. I'm just excited because we got a unique 'Mech which also looks cool at the same time! It's also not "gimped" so far by any means so what's not to like?
And what more important is, that it brings something new to the table by introducing MASC and hopefully can also refreshes close combat in MWO. It's already a long time ago since Atlas brought awe to the battlefield so fingers crossed it could inspire people like Atlas did (do).
