hate the flamer change. that was fixed equipment. hey why dont we the engines and structure changable next? not like lore means anything at all. also, CW changes worry me, and yay ebon jag.

I don't see you complaining about IS robots completely ignoring construction rules.

Bit of a double standard, isn't it?

When is CW getting a revival? All this 'development' yet game still has nothing new to offer in over 6 months...

eg.
Commando runs 171 kph now.
The game limit is apparently 171kph.
MASC on a Commando would push it over 171 kph and break the game. ;)

So another thing that needs fixing?

Where can I see mech quirks now?

In the mechlab, under the Warehouse screen, there is a little window that says "Mech Stats" and to the left of the "M" is a funky little square pictogram... click that, and it expands to see your quirks, and other vital statistics.

Making counter-attack kill-based with these conditions with the dropships was a bad idea, mmkay?

Not really... All the dropships do is prevent spawn-camping. Don't get close to the spawn, don't get killed by dropships.

Been observing teams holing up in their spawns.

jagermech - cosmetics, but neat

jenner - finally, nice

adder - go with the trend on all clan mechs too, test it if needed, but clan mechs definitely need unlocked stuff

no quirk changes - good, looking forward to when weapons are touched (like cuacs recently) and quirks get lowered (also, could raise the arm on dragon)

mech selection - i rather launch another game than spend time in mech select screen

BUgs noticed so far in the new patch:

1) Ebon Jaguar death animation totally broken
2) Omnipod selection in the Mechlab shows the wrong parts colored red (i mean the small little icons when enhancing the omnipod then)
As an example the "left torso" omnipod shows an red arm icon
3) switching OFF the cockpit glass in the settings does not work for the Ebon Jaguar und you still have cockpit glass
4) Frame drops seem to be even worser now on certain maps
5) Please do a UI scaling in the Mechlab

and finally:
PLEASE bring back the old Mech selection screen. The new one is just a pain in the ass

So we got the loyalty medallions from the event a couple weeks ago injected today, but I didn't see the percentages of LP listed anywhere. I assumed it would be 5% since Wolf took more than five planets during the event, but after my first CW match using it today, it was a 1% boost.

It's 5% of whatever you earned in the mech you have it equipped in... Just like if you take a Hero mech, you get 30% more cbills of what that mech earned... In order to actually get 5% more, you'd need a medallion in every mech... In order to get 30% more cbills, you'd need 4 hero mechs... it's... obtuse

That still seems off though; I did 972 damage in the mech I had equipped it in, and only used two mechs, the other of which did ~700 before the match ended. I guess the math probably works out, but that's really disappointing. Thanks for the info though.

It's worth noting... this is observed information, I don't have any hard data or post information to base this on. Just conclusions I've drawn based on my own experiences... Loyalty points depend much more on assists/kills/UAV/etc than on damage.

Pretty sure it's 1.25%, period.

Just as Heroes add a 7.5% Cbill bonus, it doesn't matter how well you do in that mech. It's applied to the sum. For Cbills, at least. I'll assume Loyalty works the same way.

That makes sense, then. Every game since that first one I played has been a 1.2x% boost.

Which is funny, because that's not what the event says:

Clan Invasion Planetary Takeover Challenge

Help your Clan take possession of up to 5 Inner Sphere-controlled planets during the course of this Event and you could earn a Faction Medallion with a Loyalty Point boost of up to 5%!
The number of planets conquered during this Event will provide eligible players with a Loyalty Medallion booster equal to the number of planets that were conquered!

# of Total Planets Conquered
(by end of event)
equals
Loyalty Medallion Boost %
1 planet
equals
1% Loyalty Point Medallion
2 planets
equals
2% Loyalty Point Medallion
3 planets
equals
3% Loyalty Point Medallion
4 planets
equals
4% Loyalty Point Medallion
5 planets
equals
5% Loyalty Point Medallion

Can anyone post what percentage they're getting from the medallions? I for sure participated in at least five planetary conquests, but seem to have the 1.25% medallion. Does anyone else have a medallion that is providing a larger boost?

Stats common to all MASC items:
  • Acceleration bonus: +175%
  • Deceleration bonus: +150%
  • Turn rate bonus: +25%
  • Gauge fill rate: 10% per second
  • Gauge drain rate: 2% per second
  • Damage threshold: 75%

Does this mean that one can accelerate almost three times as fast?

It still only covers that one mech. You would need to have a 5% medal on each mech to gain 5% overall...

So.... when do we get another chance for more loyalty medals? :3
