When I see these threads, I just see buyers remorse. I knew what was coming with the Sexecutioner, just like the Garbro. I knew they weren't going to be Timbers or Whales. We had all the information from the get-go what we were getting.

If you're playing a Garbro like an 80 ton Timber, you're doing it wrong. Same goes for the Sexecutioner.

I'm actually very pleased with the .EXE.

It's the Ebon Jag I'm disappointed in. I much prefer my Hellbringer.

And funnily enough, it makes me want the Exe even more. Sounds like the CT hitbox is pretty bad, but also sounds like that's being reviewed already. That said, mobile and underarmed omnis? Sounds like my favorite type!

FFS people, you knew this when they announced the mech. There were discussions and statistics about it's tonnage, speed, free space for weapons, possible variants, etc...

You have zero freaking excuse complaining about the stuff that was revealed or disseminated prior to Wave3 pre-orders being opened.

Complaining about torso-twist, hard point height/location, JJs still being crap, or MASC implementation are all valid. Enough with the whining about tonnage like you weren't told months ago.

Sincerely a Wave3 Executioner package owner.

Give me a break, maybe if we were all BattleTech TT nerds we would have done all the calculations in advance to know that it would be a dog of a mech. Maybe you should have warned us "unenlightened" MechWarriors since you were obviously in the know way in advance of my $120 being put down for Wave 3.

The fact is you can't tell how is mech is going to play until you pilot it and try to make a workable build in the Mechlab. I've been playing for 2 years now and I got suckered... I admit it... I should have known that with all the hype PGI would dump an oversized Shadowhawk on us at 95 tons. Actually the Shadowhawk is a better mech (that carries the same payload as the Exe) but anyway my point is we HAVE A RIGHT to feel suckered and complain to PGI about it.

I paid back in February or March before everything was probably dissected on the forums about the Executioner's payload etc. etc. Did I know about the 70 deg torso twist? No. Did I know about 13 tons of un-removable hardware and low hardpoint mounts on the arms? No.

MASC is fun, but soon it will be rolled out to all the other mechs and removable on the IS mechs... making the Executioner another gimmick Clan mech that I wasted money on.

And the answer about whether each Mech should be better than the previous one... no I don't believe that should be the case. BUT I'm pretty sure a new 95 ton mech should make the opponent get worried... I don't think that's the case for anything other than Gargoyle pilots.

Ummm...we did warn you guys, on pretty much every thread about the Exe and Wave III.

You can lead a horse to water, but as they say, you can't make them drink.

You spend 120 bucks without doing any homework, on the THIRD WAVE OF LARGELY UNDERWHELMING CLAN MECHS, that falls squarely on you guys. No one is obligated to hold your hand.

So we are supposed to be happy campers? Is that your point? I thought in the USA a customer had the right to complain if they don't like the product. Maybe in Canada its different or whereever you live Bishop. Tired of self-righteous know-it-alls saying we should shut up if we are unhappy with the finished product. Its the other way around, you should shut-up and let us try to get PGI to make improvements.

Lol, and maybe we are tired of ignorant fools who jump without looking, crying that everyone else owes it to them to rescue them from their own folly?

But go ahead, continue with the pathetic insults and telling people to shut up, because you have no argument, you made your own bed.

I'm a red-blooded American and you aren't entitled to whine about a product you did no research on, only slap down some greenbacks and expect champaign to rain down from the heavens at your almighty dollar. If it was misrepresented or mis advertised, you'd be onto something. But between the TRO (which is DECADES old), sarna.net, and a host of other things, NOTHING about the EXE should be a surprise to you.

I bought it and I knew full well what it was about.

well if you buy a car and then dislike its characteristics which you could check in the catalog, nobody would care of your complaints in any country in the world

Protip: the customer is not always right, and from my experience of years in retail and service jobs, most customers are wrong.

As cdlord said, if you didn't get what was advertised you'd have every right to be incensed. But they sold what they advertised. And us "TT nerds" posted the information necessary to make informed decisions in dozens of threads.

Why PGI? If i had to complain i would put the blame on the BT designers.. It is not always PGI's fault ;)

This brings up a peculiar point.
What is up to speculation entirely?
Size?
Hitboxes?
Hardpoint placement?

Is that really what separates our mechs from TT record sheets?

Any reviews on the updated hitboxes yet? Eager to see what we have to work with now.

The mech is really growing on me. MASC is awesome, I find myself wanting to hit the MASC button on EVERY other mech I drive now. LOL. The accel, decel, and turning is just awesome.

I gotta say, this pack contained the second best clan assault mech in the game right now, easily a top tier heavy, not quite the best, and EASILY without doubt the best clan light (we are pretty sure on this but obviously it isn't in game).

The Shadow Cat may be underwhelming, but it is very cool and might have some use.

You may notice I am warming up to the Executioner, if the CT hit box fix does it job its going to be a solid performer, but won't be as good as the Dire. Also, D torsos are a must.

It suits my playstyle better than the Gargoyle and the Warhawk, that's for sure. I fail to see how either are better?

Victim. As in another Victim of PGI. It is an Assault that gets less free space than an Heavy while weighing 30 tons more and is just a copy of a slow Gargoyle with JJ and MASC.

Yet another disappointment.

Not sure what a TRO is but you kind of sound like a forum bully... Though you only have 6000+ posts compared to Bishop Steiners 26000+ so I guess you have some work to do.

Also, Champagne is spelled... well Champagne. And I'm also a "red-blooded American" -- spending $ and complaining about it afterwards is our God Given Entitlement. At least in Texas. And Florida. Not sure about the rest of the USA but I'm 99% people in New York and New Jersey feel the same way.

So the short version of our discussions between me and you (and Bishop & other forum warriors):

Me: Executioner is underwhelming, I expected so much more and I wish I could get my $ back. Maybe if PGI changed a few things it would live up to the (marketing) hype!

You/Bishop/Forum Bullies: You should have done more research! You got what you deserved! Every TT stat was out there for you to study and obsess over! And by the way, I TOLD YOU SO!
