Not discussing about its merits, this is a niche style of play where you just play staring contests with the enemies and win. So far, I only know two-three 'Mechs which can pull this successfully, all of them are Assaults (which is to be expected):

The Dire Wolf: she usually sends a stream of bullets at you followed by a big laser "alpha". Or maybe just one big shot followed by another "alpha" (beware when she appears to just looking at you harmlessly - she's charging her dual Gauss!).

The King Crab: it's just a constant barrage of 20 pin point damage from her quad UAC/5. Occasionally backed up by a couple of laser fires.

The Banshee: the Lasers + 3x AC/5 config. It seems that she's somewhat rare because I don't see her very often on the battlefield.

Other 'Mechs can certainly do this but perhaps with somewhat less lethality. I, for example, have a HGN-733C which can be configured to carry 2x UAC/5 + 2x LL + 3x LRM5. In this config, she could be a big annoyance but is arguably less dangerous than those three, not to mention that the LRMs only work in open spaces.

So what other 'Mechs can pull this? Tell us the loadouts if you know some!

10 SPL nova you can pump out.... 180 damage in about 5 secs more or less. That's overheating or coolshotting ofc. But still.

First mech I thought about when staring contests were mentioned. If the enemy can't kill the dragon before becoming heat limited, the dragon's going to win.

Many males give feminine names or personification to their implements of war. Such as the old naval tradition of referring to ships as she or her. Probably became popularized as an effort to subconsciously trigger protective instincts, thus motivating one to fight harder for their ship or keep better accountability of their weapon. The practice is not limited to military usage, for example the recently deceased blues musician B. B. King was famous for referring to his guitar as "Lucille".

No, not really. Dire gets 5-6 Ultra AC/5s, which is still better than 2 AC/5s quirked to act like 5. That and the massively higher armor/structure.

The Jaggermech : She bears three mighty Ultra AC/5's, which show no mercy to those that block her path. As she fires them, either altogether or rapid fire, even the mightiest of foes mustn't show even the slightest part of their mech', lest be doused in hot lead.

The Awesome: Blue lightning cracks the air as she fires a multitude of such, and at long range can render brawlers useless.

The Atlas: Though she is not as fearsome as she used to be, she still gives any mech that are not in her class a run for their money as an AC/20 backed by SRMs strip armor in chunks.

The Thunderbolt: One of the most used mechs' in the battlefield for close quarters or long, her Medium or Large pulse strip armor, silent to both the pilot and those around them

The Cataphract: The "Strong", but "Slow" heavy in the game, she can pack most Ballistics, specifically Gauss Rifles to Blast away armor or Ultras to batter away opponents.

I've got a few more, just wanted to get these out of the way.

The Mad Dog: As her name says, her rabid attacks of Streak 36 Destroy any Light Battlemech insane enough to stray near her.

Timberwolf: The wolf howls as she is able to leap high and claims prey one after, another with various claws and teeth, such as dual Ultra 5's, or her Streak 24.

The Warhawk: As she lumbers forward, some cannot take the beating that she puts out, being able to poor an alarming amount or Lrms, Streaks, or to chop enemies down with Dual Gauss, Lasers, and Particle Projectile Cannons.

My modified Dakkawolf has 3 x UAC-5's and 2 x UAC-10's. It annihilates anything foolish enough to stare at it. Nothing can survive firepower of that magnitude for long.

well if we speak about killing fast, splatdog is probably a better example, it has 72 concentrated rather low heat alpha if you don't have hitreg problems

In my description, she's a anti-light, so in general, when a dog is mad, it'll attack the smallest things, such as cats, possums, and even a racoon if it isn't huge.
