1) Solaris/Stock Mech mode - what and when?
2) What will you do to increase mech and build diversity and kill off meta and boating?

3) Jump jet use delay increase maybe? - It's still used to "shake off" damage.

Are we going to get TRUEDUBS for the first 10 installed double heat sinks regardless of engine rating (and its internal DHSs)?

Truedub: A double heat sink which has double the heat capacity and dissipation compared to a single heat sink... 0.2 heat/s and 2.0 heat cap

when will we see another balance pass for weapons and equipment ?
specifically can you please comment on these items

machine guns are well below par at the moment, can we expect a buff/de-nerf for them ?

flamers ... will they ever get any love?

Ferro-Fibrous do you have any plans/ideas to make FF viable vs ENDO ?
can it be buffed somehow so that its a hard choice between the two
(something like % based damage reduction before armor)

heat sinks, will single heat sinks ever be a viable option ??
my suggestion is to remove the 1.5mil Hsink tax by making single heat sinks cool faster but have a smaller heat cap, doubles cool slightly slower but have a much higher heat cap, allowing users to choose sinks to suit their build
would looks something like

Single heat sinks __ (current) _ (suggested)
heat dissipation ____ 0.1 ______ 0.15
heat base _________ 1 _______ 0.8
heat base engine ___ 0.1 ______ 0.1

Double heat sinks __ (current) _ (suggested)

Is there any chance of having leaderboard events change to only count a certain number of matches? For instance, your score is still determined by your best 10 matches, but only X number of matches are counted before it cuts off? This way it's no longer about who did amazing 10 times out of 500 matches, but who was able to play consistently well over that smaller number (say, 50 for example purposes, up to 100 at the most).

I'm not sure this is really a good idea. In Pug there is a big random factor, you can get 10 or more bad matches in a row through no fault of your own. If you are good you can alleviate it somewhat but nowhere near enough to compensate.

Imagine it's max 20 matches. Player A get 10 great matches in a row then have a loosing streak. Player B get 4 good matches in a Row then a loosing streak of 10, then 2 good matches, then a loosing streak past 20. Player C have a loosing streak of 14 before he starts to get matches that is acceptable and so on.

What I want to see is two separate boards. One for group and one for solo which would put an end to suspicion about some players getting the road partially paved for them by teammates. Group people can still participate on the solo board of course but would have to do so on equal terms.

Game very much changed for the last year. Thank you, thank PGI.
Few questions:
1. How about hand-to-hand fighting? Most of mechs have arms ) And...may be its possible to add a hand-weapons)
2. Strafing movement and Squating? Sometimes its a sad, when u can't move side without turning or hide.
3. Mines. Mines can to slightly change battle tactics.

are there any plans for some additional 'fluff' animations similar to that one at the beginning of a drop when the pilot starts their mech, like an eject animation, some additional hangar animation with techs preparing your mech etc

These might be good for Clan Hero mechs. No Omnipods in the mix.

It drops in a month, are we good or should we be holding off on the install?

(I can do without most games, but being without the ability to blow a torso off a mech or leg it is unacceptable :)

This would be good to have, but with the new mech lab it doesn't take too long to check each mech to see which has what now either. Just select the mech picture and you can see what's loaded on it on the right of the screen. I had to do this the other day, and I have a ton of mechs, but it didn't take too long to do.

It would be nice to have something similar for the cockpit items too. For this you still need to do it the long way. Which is a pain. I purposely unload my items when I'm done with a mech so I can see what I have available and so I don't have to hunt for items. (I also unload modules.)

It would also be nice to be able to view just the cockpit items you own.
We can narrow down the list of mechs, colors, and modules to what is owned. Just not Cockpit items. :)

1. Is it true we are getting an Oceanic Server ? (Please god say yes - the pings are getting stupid over here.)
2. If so will have a pass through to allow us to select a server to play on - US - Canadian - European ?
3. Any chance you will be building some escort games into the game styles ? (Happy to assist if required.)
4. Now the Clans have invaded cane we see some mixed drops ... clan and IS Mechs in same drop decks ?
After all IS did capture Mechs and reuse them - along with captured pilots.
5. Any chance the players can add some of their own art to their own Mechs ? Even out Unit Tags would be good.
(Approved by you guys first.)

And by the way - thanks for the new Mechlab - especially the filters.
Be nice to set some filters that could be remembered for Skills section as well.
Filter out any unowned Mechs etc ... Maybe even show the Skills of a selected Mech whilst in the Mechlab ?

Do the Stained Glass hanging items offer loyalty bonuses as well?

When will collisions be added back in to the game, so we can see who the truly skilled pilots are, as there are too many that charge straight ahead and pray to the warp me to a good location gods when fighting in close ?

When are we getting a MatchMaker overhaul, solo and group queue? The game is pointless for me. All matches end in rolls and it takes me over 10 minutes to find a match.

More thoughts from last night:

1. Can we please go back to 250 ton vs. 240 ton drop decks for CW? The results have been pretty one sided lately.

2. There have been several requests to somehow eliminate the ceasefire in CW. I like the idea as well and would offer this suggestion (no idea if it is feasible on the back end and time soon): once a planet is 50% capped, a 12 hour countdown timer kicks off. Further victories for the attacking force accelerates the rate of capture. If the defenders get the planet back below 50%, the timer resets (or time is rolled back onto the clock at an accelerated rate). Essentially conquest cap points for planets. This would give a much more dynamic ebb and flow for planet capture, and planets could theoretically flip while battles were active (and would count for the new planet's owners).

Sound question-

When VOIP was added a option to pick which sound device was used for input/output of voip was added. But there is no way to pick what device handles the output for the game itself. Will this be option ever be added in?

I'm... dubious about the movie tbh.

I love Deadpool, huge fan.

But Classic 'pool... new pool is... sorta sad.

From a psychotic anti-hero, who generally means well (in his own way) and has his own sense of honour, but is legitimately insane, fourthwall breaking, anti-hero.

New Pool is just some idiot spouting memes with voices in his head, and I haven't been able to get into it.

What I've seen of the movie so far leans towards classic Pool though, which is nice.

why dose it take over 6 months from announcement of new mechs to finally actually getting them?
why do we have to wait 1 month before we can get the other 2 mechs from wave 3 and content?
will you ever start releasing new mechs with out putting them in some kind of $80-$120 package?
