The new IIC 'Mechs look almost exactly like those depicted in the TRO. It wouldn't actually be bad if the source materials are already good, but, some are sadly not IMO..., like the HGN-IIC. I guess they (Alex) felt that those don't need to be reimagined.

There are more to be said about the IIC concept arts, but, I just wanna say: PGI please redo the HGN-IIC. It looks nowhere as cool as the original T_T

The Clans didn't design them to LOOK radically different, that's one their things, preservation of past, those are SLDF designs, they really hold those as almost religious things, so I think Alex did a great job.

But they have reimagined the Highlander so they should base the IIC on it (what we already have). And BTW the Orion IIC drawing on sarna depicts an offset cockpit, quite different from the original.

They all look great to me. I don't remember the Jenner IIC having reverse joint legs but maybe that art came out after mechwarrior 2... or maybe mechwarrior 2 just didn't do that.

I think the Hunchies 'chest plate' should be a little less pronounced, but otherwise, they all look pretty good.

I suppose it depends on what you hoped for

IIC's are star league mechs updated and converted to take current clan weapons systems.

I was never that enthusiastic about clans even in table top, because they are just power creep, but I am curious to know, why you think they shouldn't look like they are presented
