"Pretty good rain, yesterday"
"And today?"
"Meh..."
"How will be the weekend?"
"Rainy again with shower possibility"
"Ok, I'll take the (ecm) umbrella"
"Yea, good idea"
"Oh no, look, no rain, it doesn't work anymore..."

When people would carry just one rack and you got as we speak 6 out of the 12 who has one rack: it contributes damage. Difference is there.
One missile boat racked with full 10/15/20 is effective only when the team locks. Difference can be big.
It's how you see really. Point 2 is almost never done because people see point 2 and do not want to waste tonnage and ammo.
You still have to rely on your team.
Same thing goes for AMS:
See it as a umbrella when it rains. Few drops no problem, but if it's going to rakn alot more then you have a problem when you don't carry a umbrella. One does not make a difference. Twelve does..

you never could, eeh? you lock through the rock when either somebody gives the lock to you or your team has an uav there
>Keep a lock for more than 3 seconds
the base lock time when you lose the sight of your target is 2 seconds, 3.5 with target decay module, 1.5 seconds with target decay module when enemy has radar derp (they all do), 0 seconds if you don't have target decay and they have radar derp, nothing of it changed recently
>or even think about hitting an Ogen with a missle(as they are boxed).
the only thing which changed

LRM's are just too damage inefficient and take away a body from the furball. with mass ECM spam also the norm, there is literally no reason to take a LRM boat in CW unless you are trying to lose.
I think the OPs point was that Lurms SHOULDN'T be useless so they need a buff - i tend to agree, but i also like how ECM works so.... +25% projectile speed for Lurms?

I'd prefer if the damage is buffed maybe by 15%. That way they can still be avoided as easily as usual but become the bane of wide and slow 'Mechs (hello Mr. King Crab!). And their fear factor will also be increased to reinforce their role as a support weapon.

If you get caught in the open, LRMs are not useless. If you don't have ECM LRMs are not useless.
If you use LRMs within 90 Meters...

Question is would you have got more kills if you had 4 lpl other than 45lrm. My view the lrms spread so much damage it didn't help the team as much as two more lpl to someone ct.
