BTW modded Medium lasers on the 1B are NUTS, they fire substantially faster than even a modded MPL, its crazy. The quirks are pretty decent on it actually.

Ya you should! I was using your 3 MPL build to great effect, but figured if I'm doing all lasers I'd give the 2ML+ LL a try. So far its runs hotter, but that's because of how stupid fast the MLs are firing. I like the LL because when i lose my 2 energy arm I'm not really at a disadvantage like you are with the 3 MPL build.

They just updated the model to look like it has the weapons that you have equipped. For instance if you have an ERPPC it will show up now. Even if some of the weapons are less than perfect looking...

the combo of the speed and size i find it better than my raven 3L which people like to talk about as one of the best lights.. It's also my only light to ever have hit an 800+ damage match, I'm also a brawler, so none of this dual ERLL sniping!
To me, the real change a commando needs is the 3A, needs to move the center missile hard point to the other arm.. So you can target both missile points at the same spot when moving at 150KPH+ Nothing pisses me off more, than when i am flying by something and i need to twist, and 4 of my missiles from my CT miss the target, because they are on different aim points.. and really the best part of the 3A is the arm aiming aspect of it. Commando's are all about the dance..
Make the 3A the more manuverable commando, by virtue of the ability to aim with arms, which all but one HP does.
the 2D to make it different should move the single arm launcher to the ST, to make the 3 missile HP cluster tighter.. load up 3 SRM2's and have um pack super tight, with out your two of your missiles missing the target when going fast... the single arm laser is easy to tag the target after launch.
This mechs bonus is the ECM, and has a slower engine, so CT missiles should work just fine..
Granted this screenie is my best match in a commando. (and honestly one of my better matches in any mech). Just happened maybe a month or so ago? But i can regularly hit in the 400+ range with a few kills..
So obligatory, best commando match screenie.. yes i was on fire that match!

besides... PGI has shown themselves open to changes. They never talked about quirks and that has been one of the biggest boons to lesser used mechs. They always said they wouldn't rescale because it is to mech work, but now, they are working on some mechs. So to say they would never change a HP location, on a mech that is under performing i think is just a bit short sited as they have shown themselves very open to community feedback since even closed beta. Granted somethings people hate, but most people roll with the punches and find things better every year. I know i have.
So here's hoping to commando's getting a HP change, BTW, i wouldn't mind seeing the 3B move up to at least 4 missile tubes as well...

No adding tubes snt a hardpoint change, and there are no tube limits anymore. Its always the same as the weapon you have equipped after the recent update, hell even LRM20s work.
