Are all of you OK with this?
you agreed to these terms by installing win10:

You ever read the EULA's for all the previous Windows OSs? Cause if you had, you'd notice they've ALWAYS had something along those lines in them, so....what's new? Windows isn't YOUR software, it's NEVER been YOUR software, it's always been MicroSoft's software, they just agree to let you use it for a fee, and they put all sorts of little provisions in the EULAs that cover them doing all sorts of things most people would have a cow about if they actually bothered to read them. Oddly enough, despite all the bs things MicroSoft has done over the decades, that's not one of the things they've ever gotten in trouble for abusing.

So, if that line troubles you that much, I'd suggest you get rid of your current version of Windows and get a Linux OS, because that's the ONLY OS out there that doesn't have a line or two exactly like that...and you might want to double check your Linux OS's fine print, some of them might include something along those lines ;)

Do any of the existing Total War games use DX12 today?

no total war, but slightly similar is

ashes of the singularity(more akin to supreme commander)

this looks like it will be our first dx12 game and there should be a dx12 build released to the media around august 13th .

so we should beable to see some actual numbers of dx 11 vs dx 12 gameplay.

although expect this one to be skewed a bit in favor of dx 12 due the nature of the engine behind it. however it should still be a showcase example of the power of dx 12 over 11 .. at least hopefully

Ok, so I bit the pillow err bullet and installed Windows 10. No issues running MWO at all. Everything is copasetic. All my steam games work. Mumble and Ventrilo work. Yay! So I fire up the new Edge browser, I play with the settings import favorites. Meh, its okay I suppose. I pull up some web pages read the news, maybe its okay, then I come to the forums here...and when I scroll using my mouse wheel it makes the background "jump" or flicker when scroll through the topics or posts. If I use the scroll bar no issues. Just when I use the mouse wheel. MWOmercs.com is the only page I've found (thus far) that does this. Anyone know why or if it can be fixed? Is it a "bug" of the Edge browser? Other then that Windows 10 seems pretty solid.

If there is a performance increase its not because of DX 12 because right now no game has support for it.

Did I ask about DX12? Hmm?

No. No I did not. Go back under your bridge, troll.
