I know, I shouldn't be excited for the game is still FAR away from the awesome Gameplay MW4 had, but this is a huge step in the right direction. PGI, with this patch you might have restored at least some of my hopes for this game.

LRM ammo is set at 180 b/c it is a common multiple of 5, 10, 15, & 20. This way you always get a full volley from a single (or complementary set) launcher. To reduce the ammo and keep the multiple they would have to drop it to 120 (or 60). I don't think very many people would stand for a 33% or 66% reduction.

So much stuff from every corner -map design, mech visuals, game modes, gameplay itself

... and I have an important exam tomorrow...damn.

That is true. Eu, and AUS are hopefully getting their servers on the 21st. This could mean that during EU prime time, the US players will be the ones dealing with 200+ ping, instead of the other way around.

Great patch and great to see the new preview.
However I note only one other poster has asked the question about the dynamic time of day.
Can one of the devs please confirm what it is doing because a 15 minute game that incorporates 6 hours of actual time in terms of what happens with the lighting seems excessive.
I guess we will see soon enough, but that seems like a lot of time condensed into a 15min period.

I bet the reduction in shots per volley will further increase the hit registration for UACs. Because less projectiles flying in the air means less work for the server.

Mark my words: tonight there will be an extreme C-UAC / PPC spam!

Improved HSR is a possibility. That's about the only tangible thing I can think of. Lag spikes would be reduced, if you were suffering from them.

Why is the Hero thunderbolt called the Top Dog and not the Tallman?

The Pilot was Tallman. It should be called that, but PGI actually never called the hero mechs by their pilots' names. The Protector should be Kerensky for example.

Yes, I used to die in the Executioner more because of the locking MASC than from enemy fire. I fixed it by making the MASC not-toggle, but the bug is still there.

That's a shame, Tallman sounds better to me.
