My dual C-UAC 5's are jamming up really fast after this patch for some reason :( I'd rather have more shots and less jam

Anyone else notice this? I removed mine and stuck regular ac5s on because of how awful the uac5s are now

There's one more patch note you forgot to mention...

The middle part of the Awesome's front CT hitbox (the gut, if you will) no longer exists!
You need to aim above or below the waist for the hits to register.

So, go for the face or the nuts, Mechwarriors!

P.S. Since you've added collision noises to the game, why not add a nice looping metal grinding noise for those sustained collisions like grinding your 'mech along a wall or another 'mech... (pun intended)

Again:
Is it the best TDR? Probably not.

Is it strong? Yes.

Will it be OP? Nope, and that's the single most important thing about a new mech being released. It's gonna be good, but not OP. Especially if it's MC only

I agree the mech should not be OP, that is very important. But if its not better than (or at the least on par with) what I already own, why would I spend $30 in MC for it?

Hats off to PGI on the new map.

First thing since MW3 to make me feel like i'm in a Mech. So much more detail than the other maps combined and runs well. Loads of small things to make us feel like we're in a mech, and lots of big things to remind us that we're in Battletech.

Let's see if it does usher in a new era of tactical play though, or will we just find the new nascar route? :D

Got quite a bit of building 'flickering' (disappearing) though, probably to do with the occlusion? I'm sure that'll get fixed. Oh, and can someone confirm that FXAA isnt working on the new map with dx9?

Praise be the almighty Kerensky, every detail of this patch is good news.

Let us all take a moment of silence, however, for the death of the Direstar.

They REMOVED/LOWERED some of the earlier nerfs.... aka these are buffs. Read the notes again.

Well, even as buffs, bet there will still be complainers. There was no reason to touch these Mechs anyway.

I am running always the repair tool for patching. After the huge patch on Tuesday I started today the repair tool for the small hot fix. Unfortunately the repair tool is now downloading, at least it looks like for me, the same patch as on Tuesday because I am downloading again the objects.pak with the 1538,43 MB.

:o

http://mwomercs.com/...52#entry4513152

I have again to download all the stuff and the objects.pak while using the repair tool for this patch. Does someone have a good explanation for this???

PGI, plz fix this. It's really annoying.

Thx!

I stand in disbelief. I almost am afraid to log in. I am sooo excited like watching a flipping awesome movie trailer. Only now I am afraid to see the actual movie in case I am disappointed. :)

Well done PGI, now make all the maps to this standard and you'll do well.

I didn't think the thumbnail selection was coming this patch, I vaguely recall late July if events follow the script. Then again, I'm not looking forward to it as much as some people are (my mechbay numbers are fairly small).

New map looks great. I feel like Earl Sinclair when walking through the trees.

(Just don't go 3rd-PV. Mechs look much less detailed in comparison)

I also like the changes made to the Awesome.
