Nope.

Mist lynx has waste space that could have been avoided and also is ugly unlike it's concept art.

The commando has not much waste space and actually looks very good just like the ebon jaguars missiles....

I don't think you understand that increasing the arm hitboxes from the side, allows the arm to be shot off from the side much more easily. This is also called the "Mist Lynx phenomenon".

the increase is barely minimal from the side and equipping the 2nd SRM 4 doesn't increase it's side profile. (if anything, it mainly increased the above profile which as you know barely does much in this game unless it's an extreme to long range LRM's and I say long range just because of the arc)

Oh my...
That's just...
WHY THE **** WOULD YOU DO IT THIS WAY?

P.S. Why the **** is there a grey block with an X on the shoulder? Especially while the other side has a perfect alternative??

I don't think you realize what the arm loss rate on a Commando is (it's very close to a Mist Lynx, but not as frequent due to natural speed).

It doesn't sound like you drive them either.

Why, you don't like the Dragon snorting SRMs from his nostrils?

Really, it's like they're taking the piss.

Cicada: Not too bad. Actually, it's probably the only one that I'd say was done somewhat well out of the bunch.

Centurion Update: Drastic improvement . . . however the dinky barrels are still pretty pathetic, honestly. Still, I suppose it's something. Seriously, can't we just get the old arm back, with some udates?

Dragon: Not bad, however the missile tubes seem like a cop-out over doing real dynamic geometry. I think a big opportunity for fixing the snout was missed.

Awesome: What-the-hell is this CRAP!?! That's a terrible cop-out. The missile tubes aren't bad, but everything else . . . just . . . why? They're so dinky, tiny, and pathetic looking. What is making this thing weigh 80 tons? It's certainly not the mass of the weapon systems, looking at how they display on the mech. Those dinky little PPC-nipples look like small lasers with a camera lens.

Commando: My poor, poor little Commando. You could have done awesome things with this mech, made the torso missile tubes like the Panther's, or actually fan them out in a fashion similar to what it had . . . instead . . . it gets missile tube Popeye chest hair?!? It doesn't even mesh with the mech, it just looks shoddily thrown on there. The arm hardpoints aren't much better . . . they're just tacked on generic crap that doesn't even mesh with the mech geometry. You could have taken one from the Kintaro (one that actually has good dynamic geometry), and made the Commando incredible. Instead you give us cheaply thrown together generic cop-out crap.

Honestly, this is pretty pathetic looking, overall. Why? Who in their right mind thought this utter crap looked good? I don't think I'll be driving my Commandos ever again.

New mechs with their dynamic geometry aren't bad looking, and I'd say many are pretty well done. However, all the older mechs that have received an "update" just look like crap, now. The only exception to this is the Atlas. That actually turned out pretty nice. However, instead of throwing craptastic generic geometry onto the mech and calling it a day, the artists had actually taken the time to make the dynamic weapons look unique, and good, by using the art assets the mech had started with.

If you needed to go back and just flat-out redo the mechs, then tell us that's what you need to do, and have Alex start from scratch on reconcepting them and building the mechs out. I'd rather have waited a good long time on getting proper dynamic geometry for these mechs, by seeing them completely rebuilt, then having this crap thrown in our face. It's pathetic.

I'm thoroughly disappointed. I don't think my Commandos will ever be leaving the garage again (unless the Death's Knell isn't completely mangled . . . I might drive that); and I'm very happy that I never invested heavily into Awesomes or Dragons.

The rest of the patch better be frigging amazing . . . because this facet sucks.

Commando arms already popped off easily enough... and now they're Myst Lynx sized. Ugh. The dragon right arm also may as well have a bullseye printed on it. On the plus side at least the archaic missile tube limitations seem to have been addressed on all of these mechs. Yay.

Some more complaining on my part.
The AC20 is still somewhat dinky (and should REALLY be moved to the CENTER of the lego-block, because you LITERALLY can't use any backup weapons, so not only those hardpoints, that can be easily seen, are not used, but also CANNOT BE USED AT ALL, if you use an AC20)
Next up, the unpaintable metal on the new arm DOES NOT ******* MATCH THE REST OF THE UNPAINTABLE BITS.
Nor the pathetic looking missile racks, nor the laser legos, nor the ******* joints. It sticks out like a sore ******* thumb and will force me to paint my mech BLACK instead of white to hide it...

To be honest, I do not have problems with quirky and interesting stuff like the dragons SRM 6 nostril... in a way that can be a punishment to those folk who do not go the traditional LRM 10 way haha... but yea... I feel how some could be upset with it...

Edit; however yes. I wouldn't mind if we had them split evenly.

Not gonna lie, the AWS PPC hardpoints look pretty decent in-game. The front-on profile from the sneak peek doesn't really do them justice. They look alright.

THIS.

I miss the original right arm models. They were so much more appropriate for the Centurion.

You can probably find PGI in the sex offenders registry, due to how horribly they **** the mechs with their "dynamic weapons"
