I'm not against a nerf to ballistics on a Dire Wolf....IF once the patch hits, it warrants one. Screaming about it now before we really know how this patch even affects the Dire in game is premature.

ITT: People debating about nerfing the weakest loadout for a DWF (Edit: Sorry, LRMs are weaker.), while not even once mentioning the ludicrous 2-shots-a-100tonner-in-3-seconds Overlord-build that is the real problem with DWFs.

A -2% ballistic cooldown per hardpoint wouldn't be unreasonable, but jamchance is not something you want to start dipping into the negatives, UAC's jam all the time as is...

Anyone who has problems fighting a mech that needs so much support to be effective really needs to go back to training.

the dakka is strong, but you have to have sooo much face time, and on top of that the Direwolf is what 80% CT? And torso twists like a Freight train.

Properly supported or in groups of 2 or 3 (aka supported) a Direwolf is a walking force of nature. But the mech does not have anything but massive amounts of pod space going for it.

If you see a 6xAC Direwolf, be thankful it's a mediocre Dire Wolf build.

But seriously, dual gauss+lasers+more is vastly, vastly superior to AC2/AC5 builds. Incomparably so.
