Yeah, many of the elements are just photos photoshopped in. It's a standard concept art trick. I'm guessing the red rectangle is the actual monitor view and you'll have to pan around to see the rest - maybe in Virtual Cockpit mode?
Also, I love the fct that there's this great big concrete bunker to your right and it's actually your gun. Actually, that raises another point. Will the phyical design of your mech affect your battlefield view? If so, I quite like that.

It looks great, all worked up to play Mechwarrior now and no game to load!

It looks to me that while there are large side canopies and side view moniters the pilots head would be well back from them so the pilot would have a very poor view directly to either side or at least awkward if had to keep leaning forward to look to the left or right. At least for short people like me, or it could just be me failing to visualize the pilot sitting in it properly.
Actually on closer inspection the side moniters would do the job fine it probably just seems weird because am seeing it out of normal situation.

Love the delivery method, way to keep everyone staring at the site hitting refresh!

Actually, I was examining the seat mounting and it appears to be sitting on a ratching mechanism with shock mounts. It may be that it will move up and forward along with the HOTAS controls into a more ergo "semi- upright" position - meaning that what we see is the cockpit "at rest". Also note that there is an access hatch and entryway just above and behind the seat in its retracted position. The unit as a whole makes perfect design sense as an independently ejectable module - which begs other design questions concerning ejection. Ejection of the pilot alone would mean he would have to be ejected - forward and out - instead of - up and out; into the line of fire. Ejecting the entire capsule makes better design sense IMHO and appears to be what is shown here.

Looks fancy. Well I guess I got part of my wish for this game to have something in the cockpit this time. Hope it all does stuff and that I can sit there looking at it when there's nothing else to shoot at.

Holy crap, that's awesome!!! I can't wait to drive these, hehe. Can't get Crysis for MW:LL, yet, so it will have to wait.

Hunchback seems to be targeting a Humanoid 'Mech in its MFD, possible Centurion or Dragon from the silhouette.

My friend you need to go get a copy of Crysis Warhead, which gets packed with Crysis Wars and load up Mechwarrior Living Legends! That will sedate your thirst for mech action until next summer.

If I could afford a machine to run it I would be right there with you!
Heres hoping my trusty old laptop 'develops' a fatal fault sometime soon so I can finally justify the cost of a new machine (definatly going back to desktops!) Meanwhile I'll just leave this overfilled glass of water teetering precariously beside it ;)

That would explain it alright, otherwise it would be a bit of a stretch to reach the dashboard.

Image shows fine for me now as well.

Just curious but has anyone tried to figure out the "captions" posted along with the images? Some of them seem to just be gibberish, despite people attempting to decode them (according to a comment on facebook), while others are clearly excerpts from communications, possibly of the Hunchback pilot, or more likely intercepted communication from the enemy from what I can see.

The above is stuff that isn't complete gibberish (near as I can tell) and the italics is what I've figured out from other people commenting on it and guessing myself so far.

Edit: Just got this from the facebook page, doesn't really give anything new but just a better compilation of the above lines without the computer text (All capitalized stuff)

Quote

Pilot: "Are you reading this? Report, (C----?). Do you read?"
Comm Officer: "Received. Thank god, tell (Major?)."
Pilot: "They hit us fast. We can't run. Jammed... My AC-20 is jammed."
Computer: "Coolant ruptured."
Pilot: "Tell my husband I love him."

It does. The FAQ does say they "...have partnered with some of the industry’s biggest hardware manufacturers..." maybe Saitek is one of those partners. Now I am thinking about a special MWO limited edition stick set...

I like the sound of that. Would love to see MFDs that actually display useful information from the game on them.

That definately fits, I was poking around a bit more on the facebook album for the images and found someone who suggested the C might be fore Cadet. Came up with this based on that;

Are you reading this?
Report Cadet do you read?
Received. Thank god team leader
They hit us fast we cant run
Jammed my ac20 is jammed
Coolant ruptured
Tell my husband I love him
