This will probably be a flop; I don't see many people picking these Mechs up right after the release of MASC Mechs and the pre-order availability of IIC Mechs.

Besides...an all-energy TDR? It's not exactly like we have two others laying around somewhere... :(

I was really hoping for something with ballistics and ballistic quirks instead.

Damnnnn

I remember way back when the Highlander leaderboards that came with heavy metal was a ton of fun

You guys should open this up to all Thunderbolts and Wolverines too

Unfortunately these two mechs have nothing special or are any good if you compare them to the other versions. Even the camos are boring this time.
So I will pass this event because I dont want to waste MC on these kind of heroes.

Potentially worth doing for the benefits getting in the top five for the champion mechs, good to see a better reward for the leader board grind. Although mech bay is still a bit meh, I can't remember the last time I actually needed to buy them.. ..great for new players that probably wont get up there though.

how do you guys find it so easy to resist these mechs? I am having issues restraining myself from buying these things I rarely buy things at all to begin with, most of the time when I do it's when people try to force me to buy something as I have issues doing it myself.

Because PGI.

But seriously, they aren't interesting, and Pokemech is not exactly something everyone is into.

Quite easily. I'm still depressed over what they did with the Geometry changes this patch. Maybe when they go on a 50% sale. Maybe.

It's not unreasonable for PGI to try to promote sales of new Mechs by way of an event like this.

But I already have more than enough Hero Mechs, and there's nothing compelling about either of these two Heroes to make me want to buy either of them.

Best wishes to those who do.

To win the top prize of a hero mech, you must have purchased the same hero mech beforehand, is that right?

Don't get me wrong. It's awesome that it happened. It just makes me sad whenever I look at a Commando or Dragon. Especially if either of them has a CT Missile rack, or in the case of the Dragon, ANY Empty Hardpoints, because those unsightly "empty hardpoint" black ports just ruin the aesthetics of a weapon that is supposedly designed and built to it's configuration. In BT Lore, Mechs did NOT have interchangeable LEGO parts that they could swap out willy nilly. Omni Tech Did, but they had restrictions like locked hardware. But Battlemechs had a specific Template, and everything was mounted to fit. You didn't have empty ports. But, it is what it is.

Good luck to anyone that buys into this..... event. But this Whale is done. Just not enough blubber left to keep burning on the pyre.
