Please Fix The New Huge Black Parts In Geometry Pass

Many of us paid real life money to have mechs look a certain way and/or want the tactical value of camouflage. The most outrageous examples being the entire black metal arm on the Dragon, and the black metal boxes on the Commando... or perhaps side torso missile launchers on the Awesome, which frame out the already large center torso for east targeting. There absolutely is a tactical value to appearance in this game, as there is in real life. You have now introduced unintended disadvantages to these mechs with high color contrast sections. Not to mention, it looks like complete crap.
This is not acceptable graphics work, and fools no one, and would not pass in another game. It was done in this manner because it was quicker and easier to do. The black portions are highly inconsistent with all previous IS mechs, which retain normal appearances despite changing out weapons.
Why you felt the need to cut corners here, I don't know. Community disapproval is high. You recently made certain geometry changes to other mechs in the heavy weight class like the Jaegermech and Cataphract, and after community outcry, walked back some of the weapon scaling, and made improvements. That was a very respectable response. Hopefully you will again listen to what the player base wants, and refine this half-baked, cut-and-paste job.
So please, don't send the message that certain older mechs are a lower priority than others, as players have spent real life money customizing them, and love them equally as whatever's the latest offering. The colors and skins need to be reapplied, and the massive black portions removed.
Thanks.

Personally, I find it visually more pleasing if added components or weapon parts are kept black because it makes them stand out. Perhaps like this to illustrate:
vs
*the 2D art looks nicer so this makes kind of bad example.

Gun barrels, actuators, missle ports and hatches, are fine left unpainted.
But leaving all these exposed metal parts like they've been doing for the Update passes, is getting really ugly.
I hate it on Clanmechs, and I hate it on all the passed IS mechs they've done it to.
Those parts should be painted.

Out of curiosity. How long would that pretty paint last once the gun starts firing? And could PGI mimic the affect?

Does it even matter?
After the first 2 minutes and 1-2 lasers being dragged across our mechs,we already lose any semblance of previous paintjobs on the mech anyway and have them replaced with terrible looking gray, bullethole filled mess.

So you do like the damage affects a bit.

Judging by my experience from mortar barrels, pretty much indefinitely.
Unless it gets hit or manages to scrape the paint off on a building or something, it should be more or less permanent. At least it shouldn't be affected by just firing the gun.

Also something I never really noticed, was that ISLL and ISML both look visually the same.

How could you just now notice that lol! and what you meant to say is, i.s. LPL looks EXACTLY the same as a .5 ton i.s. SL...
Also I dont much mind the new weapon looks so much, BUT I DO HATE that they cant be painted / camo.
