I noticed last night that my Ultra 5 on my Zeus was jamming very frequently... Very frequently. It almost seemed like 40% of the time.

I figured it was just bum luck, but someone in chat asked everyone the very same thing.

Has anyone seemed to notice this as well?

I noticed this as well. since your not firing 3 rounds the 1.5 seconds is actually 1.3 seconds and causing a jam..

My HBR prime took about 7 matches to get the new timing down :(

Sorry miss read.. IS issue :(... hmmmm maybe try 1.7 seconds and see what happens...

I've been running a single u/AC-5 in my kit fox prime for past six months and after this patch I had to remove it. It just doesn't feel right when firing it. I don't know if it's just a perception or if it's actually worse but it does seem to jam more frequently then it did before.

I haven't tried my dual Ultra 5 TBR since the patch, so I didn't even know how it effected the Clan machines.

I just noticed with my Zeus with a single Ultra 5. It seemed like every other double click it jammed. It jams normally anyway of course, but I don't remember it being quite THAT jam prone.

HMMM wonder if like zoom module they changed it to be server side authoritative. As Such the client side would not matter as much and ping would make a bigger difference in jamming rates..

Could have to do with HSR "Fixes"

Yea, I don't know :/. I mean it could be all in my head, and seeing someone else mentioning it in game could have been a coincidence. Still, I would have to have been consistently unlucky I'd think.

.XML is the same 14-15-16-17% as it's always been.

When you start playing the quirked mechs for UAC jam reductions, then try and go play any other mech without it, yeah Jam rates are ridiculously bad.

We need a new, and sensible jamming mechanic that makes sense, go away random dice rolls.

The jamming seems more than normal. Need fire gauge. Fill fire gauge up, gun jams. Fire gauge slowly empties when you stop using double tap.

Any time you have a RNG affecting a system, it's entirely possible to just have strings of bad luck. I generally have 1 or 2 jams a match on average. Clan side, it might seem like it's happening more often because of the reduced # of pellets decreased burst times, so the interval between jam chance rolls is consequently reduced.

IF you are at high ping, and you zoom in with the module, it will not zoom in until the server catches up with you. :)

Difference between playing at home, or at a hotel, or on a train :D

They really do need to do away with it, it's the last TT relic left over from Battletech and really doesn't have a place in this kind of game.
