- It takes forever to launch a game.
- Chances are you will get stomped
- The sheer level of incompetence is staggering. It isn't too bad when someone launches in a trial in pug but when they launch with a complete deck of trials in CW you can discount that player completely
- One game mode that isn't all that fun
- No point in fighting for planets
- The rewards are far lower than playing the pug queue
Now why CW is near dead, take your pick from the list above. If CW paid more than pug queue did I'm pretty confident more of the solo players would pick it up but if you get stomped five times in a row because the only competition you can find is a 12 man of meta top tier player with fully mastered mechs with modules. Your team on the other hand consists of three good solos and nine people who seem to have the eye-hand coordination of a drunk toddler with about as much situational awareness. CW is a lot of fun when you get a good game going with even teams

Because people like me are sick of being ROFL-stomped or spawn-camped due to the inherently broke-as-shite setup of CW. Yes the PUG queue has its own problems, but none are as bad as what CW has.
A player from a well known group, posted in all chat that "community" warfare was made for groups not for pugs, pugs need to join units or not complain for being stomped.
Mystery is also right it's not just this, rewards is seriously lacking for the time invested in playing a CW match, the waiting times alone is enough to keep people out.
And like Monkey Lover said there is no point in playing or taking planets.

First off the hardcore crowd can't resist mocking the disorganised P.U.G players, they seem incapable of climbing down from matches that frankly are a walk in the park.
This isn't true it's a bunch of BS, some hardcore players are saying, well I hit a nine man in a pug team this morning, and three of their team couldn't keep their mouths shut.
Secondly while if enough four mans and pugs played the chances of meeting these organised groups is greatly, reduced, but none of the little groups that fancy CW are willing to stick it out long enough for the player base to stay and put up with losing, and being mocked for it, ( unless there is an event with toys and prizes) because a few hardcore teams, won't tell their more aggressive players, to shut their mouths or get out, because they want to win.
That in a nut shell is why CW has a low population

A huge amount of assets was invested into something that maybe 5-10% of the playerbase use. The problem with "competitive" mwo players is they believe they form the core of this games population and that they are the driving engine of this game. What they fail to notice is that they are the most vocal populus, but not at all the most vital. The lifeblood of this game is the pugs and the casuals.
Clearly its a game mode not favored by the majority and Steam will only confirm this.

How can you disagree with what I'm saying I'm having fun with? Lol. I think I know what I find enjoyable more than other people on here do . That's all I meant by that. I don't find it fun and I'm stating in parentheses that I'm a PUG so people know where I'm coming from.
Now as for others, hey if they enjoy CW, by all means go play it.
I'm glad there is a place for groups to have a place to compete for control of the galaxy. For now there is nothing I enjoy about CW, so I'll stick to solo queue.

The best way to help PGI is to play what you like, if not many people play CW (as it stands now) then that should be enough of a warning to PGI that it sucks a bit.
MWO is also designed in a certain way, and has made people play in a certain way - the grind. This is not good gameplay, but it keeps people playing and keeps people buying, unfortunately.
CW didnt deliver the in-fiction immersive universe that it promised, it is a glorified leadboard with bigger maps, if they fix that people will play it I think.

Well I can Level 3 Mechs at once and since 3 Ebon Jags are under the tonnage limit it works out nicely. Or would, If I had better Frame rates and skills.
As for TTK. My Ebon prime uses UAC5, UAC10 and a LRM10. My big hitter has some medium pulses and a UAC20... Everyone's TTK is safe from my attack!

Community warfare needed to be something radically different. How much of the community warfare maps are wasted? The entire battle centers around two locations - the gate generators, and the omega generators (which are usually in close proximity).
